Then you are in luck, because the fixed version is a GY dependent version, getting forced into the format that hates on GY's just to make it to turn 4.
Midrange and Shadow decks nearly nonexistent in SCG tournament. The archetype as a whole needs an influx of good spoilers, or now needs more attention from RnD the way blue was given the past few years.
DRS like card or bust for this set!
Was there a day 2 breakdown?
EDIT: Indeed there is. Humans on the rebound.

We need a gargandon 2.0 for the restore balance deck
I mean, you're joking, but if the mono-black mythic were some kind of big scary demon with Suspend B and Gargadon's sac effect, I'd really love it for my goofy Gravecrawler/Sac Engine/Undead Augur build I'm working on.
Paying 2WW over 2 turns (and it being vulnerable to removal halfway through), for a 1/2 plus a Batterskull is in no way all that powerful. TKS already comes down on the same turn (and sometimes earlier), and plays with far more synergies. Tasigur and Angler also come down that early.
I do think Jitte is a card that shouldn't be in the format, but I have a hard time agreeing that SFM is doing broken things.
I sure as hell hope not, and since they're different rarities I wouldn't expect them to be. I'm hoping for a rare cycle of 3 mana instant speed charms that all cost three of the same colored mana. Something like
Yeah, Ouphie now makes people wanting to splash white for Stony more tolerable.
A good 1 or 2 of in the sideboard for certain metas and certain GBx decks.
Still waiting for something that helps the archetype out (HINT: It's not Toxic Deluge).
Artifact getting a lot of hate between Karn, Green Force and this. I'd be pissed as an affinity player.
Yeah affinity is paying for the sins of KCI/Whir/Lantern. Still a strong deck of course as it has been demonstrated at several points. Ouphe will also be GREAT in CoCo decks, but indeed also a good addition if you want to play straight up GB without the w.
Rock will definitely play this, playing Creeping Corrosion has felt outdated for a while. It's also a turn 2 play against Tron. I wish we saw more cards like this in the set, it's the type of card that would affect a ton across the board.
As of now, I'm interested in purchasing
2x Ouphie foil
2x Wrenn and Six foil
2x Nurturing Peatland foil
Not sure Force of Despair will be great in modern for GBx.
Ouphe is excellent. Full stop. It's a maindeckable bullet in toolbox decks and a solid SB plan for everyone else in green. Claim doesn't touch it and Explosives doesn't either. Just watch out for Blast Zone in decks that can support it.
Yaegmoth seems very strong. Draws lots of cards with two Undying creatures in play. Definitely a sweet, Bolt-proof engine that also wrecks opposing creature decks: sign me up. I need izzetmage to tell me if this is good in aristocrats decks.
EDIT: And we get Eladamri's Call. Instant speed 2 mana tutor seems EXTREMELY playable.

I'm thinking about a deck using bitterblossom (maybe souls), cabal terapist and yawgmoth.
Yawgmoth is not a good card for Aristocrats. It's OK to have expensive reset spells (Return to the Ranks, Rally the Ancestors) and cheap sac outlets (Viscera Seer, Cartel Aristocrat) - your plan is to chump block/sac early, then play your reset spell and drain them out later. It's not OK to have expensive sac outlets like Yawgmoth - then your plan becomes...play a bunch of dudes early, then play Yawgmoth, sac your board, and die to attacks because you have no blockers and Yawgmoth's ability ate all your life.
Yawgmoth is tech against Humans in the same way that Chameleon Colossus is tech against Death's Shadow. Well, until you get killed by a flying Mantis Rider or have Yawgmoth exiled to Deputy of Detention, that is. (I knew there was an upside to Deputy not being a human lol)
Talismans are not too exciting. If you're playing some sort of artifact reanimator deck, the RW talisman/signet will either 1) give you an artifact to sac to Trash for Treasure, or 2) ramp you into Refurbish if you hit an untapped land drop next turn. The problem is there aren't any game-winning artifacts to reanimate.
Eladamri's Call is pretty good. You pay an extra 2 mana to get your creature, just like Finale of Devastation, but Call is an instant, you don't have to pay for the creature + tutor tax all at once, and it goes to your hand so you can use it to grab our dear boi Allosaurus Rider and cast him for his alternate cost for example.

Disagree. Your forgetting the -1/-1 counters. Getting Yawgmoth down turn 3 in a sac dec is not that difficult, and if things go right you can trigger the proliferate same turn as well. Undying.....Eldritch Evolution....Blisterpod....
I think Abzan Company decks are coming back into modern.
I wonder what a devoted black deck with these cards look like. Or if it would splash white, which is probable.
Whichever. I'm massively bitter as a thoughtseize player with Horizon due to the awful spoilers so far in the archetype, but I can admit this set will change modern quite a bit as a whole. I wonder what changes to become the top decks.
OK so apparently the goal of modern horizons was "not change the format much except we delete artifact decks forever". OK.
Like wtf wizards, the free ancient grudge was already good, why does green get searchable stony silence. Why do they think this is fun. What does this add.

Lack of Containment Priest is deeply saddening, unless they are planning on sticking her in an upcoming standard set
Verdant Windstorm (Instant 1G: gain 3 life, Storm) seems like it could see sideboard play. Interesting way to have tech vs both storm and burn.
Still really hoping Arcmage Charm is a cycle
I think it's part of the cycle with Umezawa's Charm.
