Rabblemaster
T1: Swing for 1 (1 Goblin at 1/1)
T2: Swing for 6 (2 Goblins at 1/1, Rabblemaster at 4/2)
T3: Swing for 8 (3 goblins at 1/1, Rabblemaster at 5/2)
T4: Swing for 10 (4 goblins at 1/1, Rabblemaster at 6/2)
etc.
Warboss
T1: Swing for 1 (1 Goblin at 1/1)
T2: Swing for 5 (1 Goblin at 1/1, 1 Goblin at 2/2, Warboss at 2/2)
T3: Swing for 7 (1 Goblin at 1/1, 2 Goblins at 2/2, Warboss at 2/2)
T4: Swing for 9 (1 Goblin at 1/1, 3 Goblins at 2/2, Warboss at 2/2)
So Rabbelemaster hits for 1 extra point on all subsequent turns but forces all your Goblins to attack every turn. He also doesn't go as wide, with most of the damage front-loaded on Rabbelemaster himself. That said, Warboss pump has some anti-synergy with Bridge, which could be an issue as existing Rabblemaster decks already use Bridge. Overall an interesting option.
You are missing Tezz Agent of Bolas and the newest Ral Zarek if you want to double count.
Also, Watery Grave is missed in the Reprints section.
Which reminds how does Mentor work with equal power? Does nothing happen or do you get to pick who gets the bonus.
It doesn't. It is like Bolster in that regard(not quite like Bolster since Bolster does still work with equal toughness). You have to target something with lesser power. If there is nothing with lesser power, you can't target anything so the ability does nothing.
Hmm as for the Goblins one gets under bridges but is vulnerable to targeted removal while the other is less vulnerable but might have trouble getting under the Bridge.
You know when I first read Mentor I thought it did +1/+1 until the end of turn lol....
Anyway seems Teferi and Lili will contribute most of the value currently they are worth combine about 80...
I find it funny Teferi looks even younger in this one...not even gray hairs anymore. Granted he is the Temporal Archmage so I guess it makes sense he can control his age but of course it could be artist interpretation.
Legion Warboss draws comparisons to Goblin Rabblemaster. I usually side in Rabblemaster against combo/control decks which don't have blockers, so the additional forced attacks from Rabblemaster are not as much of a downside as Warboss's lower damage output.
Emmara is an Elf, but needs to attack or pay for Heritage Druid/Chord of Calling to create a token. And the token isn't an Elf. Probably not replacing anything in Elves, even Dwynen's Elite seems better simply because the token is immediate and an Elf.
Narcomoeba's flavor text is ironic, it's not meant to be casted.
So Jumpstart is a "fixed" flashback that can be printed on anything. Interesting. I'm betting we'll see one or two banned cards in Standard with this mechanic- especially creatures with good ETB effects.
Surveil is a very solid constructed mechanic. If Sinister Sabotage was Surveil 2, I'd seriously consider playing it in Grixis and Sultai decks. Ditto for Thought Erasure.
Undergrowth seems like an interesting build-around mechanic. I could see some instances where decks like Hollow One and Bridge Vine might actually want Necrotic Wound over Fatal Push.
Convoke has always been more effective in limited than in constructed, and I expect to see that trend continue.
As much as Mentor is clearly intended to be a limited mechanic, it could see some play alongside cards like Hardened Scales or Winding Constrictor. It's an easy way to spread +1/+1 counters among your creatures, especially with multiple mentor triggers.
Some things I'd like to see in this set: I'd like to see more UG support. If there's a single color combination in magic that doesn't get any support, it's UG. I'd love to see a UG 2 cmc permission spell in particular.
you'll have to wait until the spring set for simic cards.
the only thing im hoping for out of jump-start atm is a 'fixed' snapcaster mage.
im interested to see how they push the surveil mechanic. its already sharing so much space with scry, but scry is evergreen. are they just not going to print scry cards or something?

From what has been printed so far, Jump-Start has clearly the most broken card potential. Here's hoping it ends up on a U cantrip or something similar. Lightning Strike with Jump-start or a Cancel with it both seem like they could be borderline playable in modern.
First we got mechanics:
Plus reprints!
And Masterpiece planeswalkers!
I think that wraps it for PAX spoilers. Overall shaping up to be a cool set so far.
EDIT - BONUS!! Goblin Rabblemaster vs. Legion Warboss maths.

I think I was still editing the thread when you posted. Should be all of them known so far now, but let me know if I missed any.

I think Mentor does nothing if you attack with a creature with equal power.
It doesn't.

nothing that looks playable on the surface. surveil being tacked onto cards just like scry would have.
that 5 drop GB mythic looks pretty damn pushed. its a 5 drop though so.../shrug

It's the turn counter relative to when Rabblemaster and Mentor enter play, and neither card attacks on that turn. Just the token.
