I only just created this at round 6, so for everyone also tuning in now that is where we are at. Gabe Nassif (BR Hollow One) vs Thomas Langlotz (Boggles), and Nassif just thought the FTV Dryad Arbor was a forest and lost the match. He was dead pretty much any way, but I still can't wait to hear about that one for the next week....
Has Dana Fischer been in a featured match? I would love to see her do well.
Other than that, I would love to see some new oddball deck do well. Not talking about a deck that has been fringe playable for years, with some kid at every LGS running it. I want to see some pet brew that has never been seen before to just take it down.

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.

SaffronOlive was already taking a twitter poll to prime the salt factory and get the knee-jerk banhammer responses for just that art. Basically everyone who spends too much time on MTGO complaining about its position on the table.
So now that people have already cycled through Eldrazi, Grixis Death's Shadow, and Lantern, I guess Tron is going to be the next "OMG WAY TOO STRONG" deck of choice, even though it didn't have a single Top 8 (or Top 16, for that matter) in the preceding Grand Prix and this is a lame duck format anyway.

Yep. I'm ready for the salt to flow in full force again. Tron still doesn't have a GP win even after that other top 8 when it had 4 copies at the end of 2017. It's how the metagame works and people just don't get it...
I want Tron to get a win before the next shift which I am expecting to speed up for fear of Jace. If it does then Tron isn't going to have much of a chance in that metagame.
Matej Zatlkaj clarifying that even though there are 4 Tron in the Top 8, there are only 2 more in the Top 32, to make 6 copies in Top 32. He mentioned that to make the point that it's not overly represented, just positioned well at the top tables.
Lame duck format where people showed up with Tron expecting people to run the Pro Tour winning Lantern (which Tron smashes) or people who had traded into control decks in anticipation of Jace.
hahahahahaha what a terrible top 8, thats amazing. It is just one metagame and it is completely outside our previous metagmaes, cool that each tournament gets spiked by something differnt.
R/G Eldrazi has won the finals vs Abzan, 2 games to 1. Double Reality Smasher lethal vs Bob + Double 'Goyf, with one 'Goyf getting hit with Dismember to push the necessary damage.

It's not like that Eldrazi deck is any better. Still playing Sol lands and Ancient Stirrings.
