Can this guy be killed using traditional means (dies in combat, or spells)? if not...How do you stop it without using another card to stop its triggered abiliity?
Engineered Explosives set to 1 will do it. You have to wait a turn, and they can still save him with an instant, but it can work. Grim Lavamancer or similar effect also work. In short, activated abilities seem to be the key.
EDIT: In response to the first part of your question, I can't imagine a likely way he would die in combat or to a spell (though Pull From Eternity sort of kills him).
Pull From Eternity won't stop him. His delayed trigger will return him from the graveyard, too. Because of his wording, experienced Norin players will put him in the command zone instead of exile and PFE won't be able to target the card, but the delayed trigger will still return him. This is to avoid his delayed trigger from being Stifled or Time Stopped in some way once it's on the stack. If he's in the command zone, he can just be recast.

Pull From Eternity does stop him to the extent that Zydermann was alluding to. Yes, in EDH, the trigger can find him if the owner puts him in the Command Zone instead of exile, but if Norin does go to Exile first in a format other than EDH (such as Modern which I am assuming the OP Is asking about since this is in the Modern forum) and then Pull From Eternity puts him in the Graveyard from Exile and the trigger will no longer be able to find it as the object has changed zones and is no longer the same object. It isn't the best option, but it is an option (in a format outside EDH).
Otherwise, the other suggestions are good; activated abilities are probably the best followed by continuous effects granting -X/-X to creatures.

(Yes, the first deck in my sig is Norin. I don't blame you for seeking solutions.)
Considering this is the MODERN forum, Pull from Eternity is a Modern card that will stop Norin in MODERN. GTFO with your *****ty format and *****ty advice
As previously said, activated abilities like Grim Lavamancer are the most conventional manner but if you happen to be playing Eldrazi and Taxes your processors can get rid of him out of exile since he stays there till end of turn.
Split Second doesn't stop triggered abilities from triggering. Sudden Shock is the same thing as Shock in this case in that both will cause Norin to Exile himself.

Activated ability direct damage (Grim Lavamancer, Goblin Sharpshooter, Marath, Will of the Wild) or power/toughness reduction (Liliana of the Dark Realms, Brood Butcher) will do it, as will effects like Engineered Explosives (as Zydermann mentioned), Pernicious Deed, and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon. So will triggered abilities (Massacre Wurm) as long as it is caused by something that doesn't trigger Norin such as an activated ability or trigger (Doomed Necromancer, Nim Deathmantle, Chainer, Dementia Master, Meren of Clan Nel Toth).
Sometimes Norin himself won't be the problem, but Grinning Ignus or Mogg War Marshal with Cloudstone Curio or Feldon of the Third Path. There's usually redundancy in Norin decks. Torpor Orb and Hushwing Gryff are ways to deal with Norin's engines, but the deck usually has solutions to those, too. And other players are likely to blow them up, too.

Nope. Triggered abilities still resolve through split second.
