Eh, I could see it as a side strategy in another land-destruction deck, especially if you also run other things to turn lands into swamps, at least temporarily, like Grixis Illusionist, and perhaps a second cheap land destruction strategy like artifact destruction along with Liquimetal Coating

I sideboard 4 in BG death cloud. Either I'll draw an urborg, or they will really. Has helped a lot AGAINST eldrazi. It's also been ridiculously good against any other BGx archetype.
So in looking for the right mix of new Eldrazi cards, I came across Spreading Algae. While not so great by itself, if run in a deck that wants Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth on board, it becomes a very powerful control effect. Does anyone agree about the potential or power of Spreading Algae alongside Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in a B/G Eldrazi mid-range deck? It would open the gates to Ancient Stirrings and Abrupt Decay. Thoughts?
If you ran 3-4 urborg and stirrings in the eldrazi deck then maybe.
Decks I'm playing in Modern right now:
URB Grixis Reveler (http://www.mtgvault.com/supast4r7/decks/modern-grixis-reveler/)
UB Faeries (http://www.mtgvault.com/supast4r7/decks/ub-fae-2/)
UW Azorious Control (http://www.mtgvault.com/supast4r7/decks/modern-ojutai-control-2/)
