That UWR Flash deck definitely looks powerful. Has this deck been in the works somewhere? I'm definitely appreciative of a deck that plays a lot of Burn's spells.
Just watch Boohoohoogland against an Infect deck and the Infect player completely missed the ball to roll Jeff over.
He was at the Invitational commentating and was also commentating while Patrick was out for the GPs in Detroit and either San Diego or LA. Not sure which.
Does anyone know what happened to Matthias Hunt? I haven't seen him commentating for a while.
If you take a look at the Open schedule, it shows who is doing the booth for that event. Matthias Hunt seems to be on backup lately, filling in whenever Patrick or Cedric have to do something or for bigger events like the Invitational.
So I'm guessing the Collected Company player in Round 9 just started playing Modern? Because that was a little painful to watch at the end. Maybe the camera got to him.
THIS 100X!!! If you don't agree with this then there is no amount of logic that will ever convince you that good, non-oppressive, combos should be allowed. If you don't agree with it then just don't play this game, and you certainly shouldn't feel entitled to make any comment on ban lists ever.
So I heard there was a Sliver list running around that was doing really well? Anyone have an idea what in this deck or decklist? Thanks! Gotta love Modern!

The cards I remember seeing and hearing about from stream were Aether Vial, Predatory Sliver, Sliver Hive, Sliver Hivelord, Necroctic Sliver, Mutavault, Cavern of Souls, Sinew Sliver, and the 3 mana white one that gives double strike.

The UWR deck looks like a normal Geist list, which has been around for years and years.

I'm excited to see Slivers doing alright! Excited to see the decklist and how it ends up. (:

Just watched the Infect vs Abzan match. They mentioned the backup match was Lantern Control Vs Merfolk. Anyone knows whos playing Lantern and what record hes got so far?
Funny part of the comment: They almost cut to the Lantern match during sideboard of the feature match, but they joked that it was Lantern, they had enough time to finish the Infect match and go watch Lantern. Then the Merfolk player stands up and leaves after losing to Lantern, faster than Infect match, lol.

Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
At least he's playing a cool deck. I personally am just excited about the Jeskai Flash deck that is 5-0.

I only saw the last few turns of game 3, but Geist of Saint Traft is in the 75.
