Sanctum of Ugin looks pretty sweet for Tron! You cast Karn and get a Wurmcoil in your hand. This is going to mean that you will have to have 4 lands in play though, so this also works for casting Ugin off of the Sanctum + 3 Tron lands. I think it is going to fit nicely as a 1-of into the deck alongside Eye.
Endless One is unexciting. First there was Ivy Elemental in Odyssey, then came two Hydras (Feral Hydra, Mistcutter Hydra) that were strictly better than it and saw 0 Modern play. Now we're back to plain old Ivy Elemental with G shaved off. A vanilla X/X for X is too fair for Modern, unless perhaps X is 0, which lets you loop it endlessly with Enduring Renewal. You's still going to need a third card that triggers off your creature dying/ETBing though.
Blood Artist would seem to be the obvious one there.
So far, there are only a couple of good cards, and those are mainly for RG Tron, there are not even good allies so far (only Gideon, and dunno if he counts).

Kathal

What I play or have:
Modern/Legacy
either funpolice (Delver, Deathcloud, UW Control) or the fun decks (especially those ft. Griselbrand)
Edit: Misread the card... I feel like it's too narrow to see play.
Strictly better than Essence Scatter, I guess? Not sure there's a compelling reason to play it.
Though I have to say I *really* don't like devoid having some of these effects on "colorless but in-color" cards. It'll make it that much harder to sideboard. I sort of wonder if one of their goals with the set is to end color hate in modern. We haven't seen a *lot* of evidence for this (or even a little), but the second they do something like print a colorless pestermite we start having a giant mess on our hands. To a certain extent playable colorless burn spells/burn conducive aggro creatures might even be a mess as hating on burn often requires hating specifically on red. (I don't know if I ever really noticed this until now, but pretty much the vast majority of widely played "protection from color" cards are all protection from red.)
Anyway, haven't seen a huge sign of this yet, but Brutal Expulsion as a potential hard (edit:) hard-enough counter to Abrupt Decay or a resolved Auriok Champion kind of got me thinking in that direction (not that I think it's OP, but prying open the door even a little bit more for Twin seems dangerous). And in the case of things like Auriok Champion, it seems particularly powerful as white has very very few cards that interact with colorless spells, let alone any that are broadly playable.
Bouncing a 2 CMC instant spell to someone's hand is more of a super soft counter than a hard counter. "Place target spell into it's controller's graveyard" would hard counter it.
I understand what you're saying about color identity. I would be surprised if they ever printed something like that.
Ugh, I didn't notice that it said "creature" at first and got super excited about this card. Admittedly I should've realized faster that such a card would never be allowed in Standard, but it would've almost obsoleted Mana Leak in that case. As it is it's fringe playable at best, and quite possibly not even that. It's kind of nice tech against Kolaghan's Command but if Tron or Amulet is relevant in your meta you may wish you had Remove Soul instead.

When you peer long enough through the depths, the depths peer also through you.
i think 90% of the people who read it missed the creature part of it. i was freaking out for a minute then my friend told me to reread it. crushed. absolutely crushed. i'll still settle for uu - 3>

I speak in sarcasm because calling people ******* ******** is not allowed.
Spawning Bed is a 3-for-1...that costs 6 mana. For comparison, Foundry of the Consuls costs 5 and gives you two bodies, while Gargoyle Castle also costs 5 but gives you a 3/4. If I had to say something good about this card, it would be that it gives you just enough bodies to trigger Windbrisk Heights. At least it's better than the other spawning bed.
The design on Horribly Awry went horribly awry. I'd play Cancel, let alone Essence Scatter, before I played this card. What a missed opportunity.
When I first read the card I missed the "creature" part and was just like O.O This card will drastically change modern. Then I realized the epic level of crap the card is. Brutal Expulsion is the card that excites me most about this set actually.

Current Decks
Modern
No idea because my favorite decks keep getting banned or having the rules changed against them
Woodland Wanderer looks decent. It's a 3/3 for 4 in mono green, a 4/4 for 4 in two colour decks, and a 5/5 for 4 in 3 colour decks. Don't think it'll be replacing Siege Rhino, but seems surprisingly good.

Well, I can saw a woman in two, but you won't wanna look in the box when I'm through.

I just assumed people thought it was good because of Snapcaster/K-Command decks being annoying right now. Like tech for the matchup or something. If you saw my last post I'm pretty much on the same page as you with Brutal Expulsion. I think many Twin decks will end up playing 1 or 2 somewhere in their 75.
A 5/5 for 4 is par for the course in green (Deadbridge Goliath, Polukranos, World Eater). If you can get it to 6/6 it rivals Abyssal Persecutor and Desecration Demon in size, but at that point you have to ask yourself what kind of deck can come up with that kind of mana. A 3-color deck with Birds or a non-Bant deck with Hierarch could, I guess. 3 drops are better in decks with mana dorks though, since T1 mana dork curves straight into T2 3-drop. That goes double if the mana dork deck plays Collected Company.
IMO Woodland Wanderer is slightly less powerful than Siege Rhino, even if it does beat Rhino 1-on-1 when cast for 3 colors (not too surprising, since Deadbridge Goliath and Polukranos also do). However, Rhino is past its prime in Modern, which makes me feel like this card isn't going to see play.
I'm a bit late to the party, but Painful Truths looks like a strong Draw 3 for 3 mana and 3 life. It's pretty flexible--theoretically, Grixis, Jund, Junk, Mardu, Esper, and BUG can all play it. Unfortunately, Jund often plays 4 Bobs and some Thoughtseizes that already try to murder it, Esper likely has better things to do with 3 mana, midrange non-Twin Grixis variants often have trouble with aggro already, and BUG may also be screaming in too much pain. But still, Draw 3 for 3 mana...although making Snapcaster flash it back is going to be very painful...
I like the new common ciptetb lands. The black and blue ones especially I feel may find modern homes as 1-2 ofs possibly in Grixis Delver or some sort of control or permission type decks respectively.
Wellllllll.... Only the red one is really useful with knight of the reliquary. The rest are all really situational. Dont get me wrong, the red one is situational too. You need to have something you wanna kill, block something that can kill it with first strike. So your asking for a lot.
None are as good utility as senjiri steppe which knight tutors to keep her, or critters alive through a removal spell, or bojuka bog, who can be compact sideboard grave hate with knight, or even soaring sea cliffs, which lets you sneak in a free hit often.
I'm just talking about Knight at anyrate. But I dont think any are that great in normal (read, not tier) decks either. Maybe the green one which lets you find some land? probably too cute too.
I got excited about the blue one for UW control at first but then realized that if you can afford to play more etb tapped lands after the 4 Colonnades you'd first max out on temples before adding that tapland
The black one looks interesting, but best fits in a 2 color deck that doesn't exist at the moment
Molten Nursery: so there's the engine that rewards you for playing Devoid cards. It looks really gimmicky. Though I guess it's a consideration in Affinity as a contender to Æther Grid (probably not though).

Not even better than that. Against Tron, this card is entirely dead, and it doesn't hit tons of combo cards.
Card is worse than Essence Scatter/Remove Soul. Don't forget all the Delve creatures.
