Quirrion Dryad perfromed good in the old extended. With young pyromanser doing good, could you put Quirrion Dryad into the same deck and have it be huge? It does not leave tokens when it dies but it looks good. (But if you are green, where is thermagoyf?)

I have dyslexia, no I am not going to spell check for you, yes you have to live with the horrors of it.
It's good, but not great. Yes, you can slot it into a Gruul deck with YP and have both lots of tokens and a huge creature, but it compares disfavorably with Goyf in two ways;
1) Goyf doesn't require extra work to make it huge
2) Goyf usually doesn't have a grace period where it just dies to removal.

Oath of the Gatewatch; the set that caused the competitive community to freak out over Basic Lands.
The reason that people splashed green in Delver in the last GP was because red removal was running rampant: Forked Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Electrolyze, Pyroclasm, Anger of the Gods etc. Goyf sustains all that hate and can therefor be difficult to deal with. Dryad is not a good card to splash green for, since it runs into the same problems that Delver and Young Pyro do. Young Pyro is stronger too, since even if it eats a Bolt you'll often still get a token or two in return.
Would you want to topdeck a Dryad lategame when the graveyards are full and the field is sparse? Goyf will be huge as soon as he comes into play which is much better. Also they grow at the "same rate" per say as you will crack a fetch, cast a Bolt, then use some sorcery on your next turn. He also grows much faster because of this and with less effort. Overall if you have the money, then it is 99% of the time an upsisde to run Goyf in these kinds of decks. Because of this the Dryad is just outclassed and therefor not played much at all.
