I'm toying with the possibility of a tri-color burn deck, in Mardu colors. I like the things that the white splash and the black splash have to offer sooooo yep. Firstly, what do you guys think would be the ideal set of land-counts for this deck? I'm familiar with the option available but unsure about what numbers of each to use. Fetches and shocks of some varieties? Blackcleave cliffs perhaps... The splashes seem to be ok, although of course the lands will hurt a LOT in the mirror. Which leads to my second question, does this deck seem decently competitive for local modern events?
You should check the lists at the Burn primer but if you are on a budget or if you are mathematically inclined, you might wanna check this article by Frank Karsten.
I'm not a Burn player myself but the list looks competitive enough although I think that the Cruise Burn variation has more gas. Good luck and happy brewing.
4 Goblin Guide
2 Grim Lavamancer
4 Monastery Swiftspear
4 Lightning Helix
4 Lightning Bolt
2 Searing Blaze
4 Lava Spike
4 Rift Bolt
I appreciate it.
