maybe i'm the only one, but i don't like fetchlands reprint.
there was a balance in modern, because enemy colours had zendikar's fetches, and allied colours had some special lands like worldwake's manlands and mirrodin's fast land. now this balance is broken.
and don't forget the money
Who knows, maybe we will see Enemy Manlands?

Oath of the Gatewatch; the set that caused the competitive community to freak out over Basic Lands.
Petition to call Modern "Legacy Lite" because it has access to all 10 fetches.
Seriously, this is great. It's like Christmas morning and your parents got you a Nintendo 64.
This is great for players looking to get into Legacy, players looking to get into Modern, and I can see Fetches plus Courser of Kruphix being a thing in Standard. The fact that the shocks are leaving is sucks..but with all kinds of non basics out there (M15 pain lands, new wedge tri-lands, the Temples) Standard mana bases will be awesome.
I think Crackling Doom could push burn decks back into three colors. They sideboard (and sometimes, rarely) maindeck Molten Rain and I think an edict is better than targeted land destruction more often than not. Not to mention it's instant speed and forces them to choose the thing with the highest power.

Even though I already run Rwb, it's probably at best a maybeboard for me. Burn doesn't really need an edict effect; it typically beats most Aggro decks out there with a controlling gameplan, it is trying to beat Midrange by trying to race before dying to their board state, it tries to beat Control by sneaking in enough damage to win a stack war, and it tries to beat Combo by racing/windmill-slamming Eidolon of the Great Revel.
yeah fetchlands reprint! now people playing shard or allied colors decks will stop complaining that their deck are not tier 1 because of the lack of allied fetches and realize that, simply, their decks are not good

Does Onslaught fetches in Standard make New Ob Nix viable in standard too? Maybe as a board card, anyway.

I dont think bloodmoon is enough to curb the greed with fetches. Its too easy to make three color decks that get under the moon when you have all the fetches.. Give us some non basic hate and complete the cycle of man lands and fast lands. I am extreamly excited to see the fetches, gives me a good reason to pick up Khans.

With the price shocks are now sitting at I would think that these fetches will be down around 15 when rotation comes about. This set will most likely break records for sales, as it has a multiformat appeal. Its going to flood the market some what, which is very good for us!
I'm really psyched for this. Existing decks get a boost, and hopefully we can see some T2 decks be a bit more viable with a more stable mana base. Not only that, but it might make Legacy slightly easier to get in to.

I think people do overestimate the effect of the lack of allied color fetches, but the effect is still significant. If anything, it would simply encourage more people to play shard color combinations. I think there are many tier 2 decks out there are actually good (e.g. Esper and Grixis control), but few people seem to want to play them over tier 1 decks.

I agree that there are far more lands available in allied colors and that that issue should be addressed. However, fetches are so much better than any other kind of dual land that it really doesn't matter how many other land types are available to the allied colors.
Icefeather Aven looks Modern-playable to me. Efficient flying 2/2 for UG early, Morph with a bouncing combat trick late. Shame Morphs tend to eat removal, but I might try it in RUG Twin as yet another way to deal with Linvala and Spellskite...

There was no balance. The power of fetchlands were way higher than the manlands and fast lands, even if you combine the two. I long felt it was nonsensical that allied colors had worse fixing than enemy colors. I don't mind if they're equivalently powerful, but I do not think that enemy colors should have better mana fixing than the allied ones.
Ferocious is quite useless, since if you have a 4+ power guy you should be able to win with him already. The exception is if there is a Darksteel Relic/Vigean Hydropon of sorts: something which is completely useless except for turning on the rest of your deck. Then again, look at how much play Relic and Hydropon see.
Ainok Bond-Kin has a cool concept, giving boosts to things with +1/+1 counters on them. I've tried to make a deck with Champion of the Parish and Allies before. More of a cool-to-brew thing than competitive though, mono-white means you have no burn and your SB sucks, among other things.
Mardu Warshrieker has combo potential but...MANA CURVE. It costs 4 mana, which is usually the top of your curve. That makes it pretty hard to abuse, and trust me, I've tried to play Coal Stoker before.
Lens of Clarity...lol Counterbalance. Unlike Lantern of Insight, your opponent doesn't know what you'll reveal! Seriously, being able to see morphs is quite useless if there's only like 1 playable morph card, which will likely be the case.
I just want one guy that's good with the "I help your guys with Outlast" +1/+1 lord ability to Pod for with a Township out. Just one. The one spoiled now being a common gives me hope for this to be a thing that happens.

I agree this set has the potential to be one of the highest selling sets in MTG history. It has at least Allied Fetches and Lantern has pointed out there may be room for Enemy. So that has great eternal and modern appeal. It gives EDH players new toys. The flavor seems pretty cool. There are new mechanics that could see a pushed card or two each, especially in Raid and Prowess. I think this will be very popular and, as such, I don't see any fetches topping $15 after prices settle. However, we must remember this won't be drafted with the 3rd set in the block so that would decrease availability somewhat.

Molten Rain is better against UWx Control (which is typically Burn's worst match-up, as Lightning Helix, Snapcaster Mage+Lightning Helix is kinda filthy...); the ability to shut down a colour to turn off cards like Cryptic Command/Lightning Helix, as well as shutting off Celestial Collonade is more suitable.
