I have been scouring the internets, and I have yet to see any forums that answers the stated question.
Is it possible? Because of the mana-ramping that goes on in a Green Fatty deck, there doesn't seem to be any room to inclue other colors. To me, if you do so, there is a possibility of drawing such cards, thus slowing down your mana-ramping.
Are there decks or threads that include other colors in their Green Fatty decks? Is it possible while retaining its effectiveness? I would really love to know.
Comes in multiple versions, but there are some ranging from budget to less-budget.
Mono-Green stompy runs fatties costing up to GGG and 4/5.
Nykthos-Green Ramp runs fatties that can cost more and get bigger
Zoo runs fatties that average 1-2 CMC and are lightning fast in their attack strategy growing as big as Tarmogoyfs will grow as well as having a few bump 'spells'.
Mono-Green can work fine. Zoo has been known to be more successful and splashes either UWR, UW, R or WR.

Genesis wave/ green devotion is fun, but if you a want another colour gruul or naya, I'd prefer red in the mix just cause there are cool cards like gorclan rampager that are quite effective

Oh! Genesis Wave is definitely my green-fatty deck of choice for modern. How did I forget about that one? Good one (:

For the record, the best fatties are colorless or black.
But I'd agree with red if you're trying to go the stompy route.
