Griselbrand, Domri Rade, and Stoic Angel (last one hopefully not at mythic) confirmed for MM2017.
Possibly Snapcaster Mage with new art (or it might be some Vedalken that nobody cares about, but why would they put it on the cover then?).
If they are really reprinting Grisselbrand, then I sincerely hope they reprint Goryo's Vengeance. It's going to spike out of control if not reprinted and it's the only deck Grissy is played in.
Also, I totally believe that guy on the front is new art for Snapcaster. It fits thematically and probably is a reaction to the overall negative response people gave to the RPTQ art. If that's the case, I'm glad I already have a set of ISD foils and haven't sold my non-foil ISD snaps yet. That original art is by far and away the best and will hold highest value.
...watch them include Pestermite... Especially after Deceiver Exarch was just in Conspiracy 2.... You know, just to rub salt in the wounds or if the set was designed and finalized before 2016 (entirely possible).

the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.
Guys please opinions on japanese cards. Lost a 3/3 creature against Japan celestial colonade. This guy played all creatures and spells in english cards, but some cards in his manabase was japanese. I dont registrated this really ( my brain say its all fine and all english to me lets attack his empty board)...and i am sure it is a Kind of legal cheating. It is not ok, but i know legal. I Hate such people. I never forget colonade normally, but with this Tricks it can happen one time in 3 years and such people take advantage of this
If I am a customer spending premium amount of dollars, I expect a premium service. Jund falls into the category of a premium deck costing more dollars than a majority of the rest of the format. I'm not getting the desired performance ratio per dollars spent out of the Jund deck because WOTC decided to make the format more diverse.
Looks like I may be able to get a good price on a set of Griselbrand in the near future.

Giving LOTV new art would be a bad idea, that drawing of her is literally one of MTGS defining art pieces. That would be like changing JTMS into something different
If they plan to print this in a volume that changes her availability considerably, then it makes quite some sense to swap arts. It will keep the original printing special so that those already holding copies won't see their value tank quite so hard, while there will still be copies around for people that want to play with her.
EDIT: And then I saw you wrote this a bit later. I guess I should have read the thread to the end before replying
I take it back, giving new art to the cards isn't a bad idea at all, it can keep the originals at inflated prices for people who either like the flavor or artwork more, while pumping out new cards in circulation that focuses more on people who just want to play, it's actually a smart compromise
Looks like Basilisk Collar is spiking like I thought it would being played in Eldrazi Tron. Glad I got a second copy over a week ago.
I will predict that Batterskull may spike soon as well. Heads up for anyone interested in the deck.
Thanks for the info. Oh, it's spiking really hard. Didn't expect that to happen. We have 3 copies here that I picked up 1 dollar each years ago when the collars are in Standard. Good thing I always had them double sleeved.
And hoping the skull doesn't spike. Instead, I'm hoping for it to be repirnted in MM17.. so that the price drops a bit....
So who here is taking the high risk route and speculating on Jace?
I actually don't think it's high-risk right now. His price has probably bottomed out on the back of the Eternal Masters reprint, and he's always going to have eternal demand to buoy his price. There's little downside to speccing on him, as I doubt he'll get another reprint for years, and the price should start to creep back up when people stop pulling him from EM.
So IMO it's all upside. If he gets unbanned in Modern, he'll skyrocket. If not, he'll slowly climb unless he somehow gets printed into the ground or banned in Legacy (both of which seem very unlikely). I'm not actively speccing on him since the investment is pretty hefty at ~$50+ a piece, but I did get a set from FTV20 so if/when I get to sleeve him up, I'm prepared.

Geez, 50 for Jace is still a lot. Blue is very pathetic right now, he has a shot. I don't know if it'll be good enough. If be becomes unbanned he's easily 100 a piece over night.
I'm almost certain Jace is going to be unbanned in a few weeks as this whole situation feels eerily similar to when AF said they
were considering Ancestral Visions.
I'm sitting on two copies because I don't want to repeat my AV mistake.

They've said before that changing the art always pushes the price furter on both editions, so they would only do it for rare cards (that aren't as expensive). I expect snappy to have new arte because of this...
I got screwed hard on AV. Not gonna let that happen again. Other than Jace, most of these required VERY minimal input cost and all have the potential for explosive value.

The argument I hear against Jace is that it imposes a Goyf tax on blue decks but I can't imagine a deck running a full play set in Modern given its speed.

2-3 would almost certainly be the right number in decks that would run it. Also I imagine it would be more a sideboard card than a MD staple, at least until there's a meta shift away from aggro and ramp.
