the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.

Guys please opinions on japanese cards. Lost a 3/3 creature against Japan celestial colonade. This guy played all creatures and spells in english cards, but some cards in his manabase was japanese. I dont registrated this really ( my brain say its all fine and all english to me lets attack his empty board)...and i am sure it is a Kind of legal cheating. It is not ok, but i know legal. I Hate such people. I never forget colonade normally, but with this Tricks it can happen one time in 3 years and such people take advantage of this
If I am a customer spending premium amount of dollars, I expect a premium service. Jund falls into the category of a premium deck costing more dollars than a majority of the rest of the format. I'm not getting the desired performance ratio per dollars spent out of the Jund deck because WOTC decided to make the format more diverse.

I don't disagree that fatal push is a "rarer" uncommon based on the what I've opened, but if the set holds enough value in general. People will start to open it more and it will begin to come down in price as supply increases, which should be quicker due to the fact that it is still an uncommon. I won't make any predictions on when that time will be though. Price has been holding pretty steady and I haven't been able to keep any in stock, so...

It won't be shortprinted. There is a 7-8 week window from Aether Revolt's release until Modern Masters 3 (march 17). Amonkhet releases in late april, so there will be a solid 13-14 weeks of Aether revolt being drafted.

The amount of packs opened will increase the amount in circulation, but if it is short-printed (I wouldn't be surprised), it means there still wont be enough to supply the demand. Plus, a lot of people who open them, will keep them.

As long as you are comfortable with the inevitable ban of the deck. If it places well at an upcoming GP, it will more than likely get banned at the following announcement, based on the actions of the past year. Nothing remotely points to this deck being a safe investment because of the speed and consistency with which it kills. So if you are OK with the possibility of losing value (or being left with a nerfed/weaker deck), then the prices aren't awful.
Id stay away. I dont see any healthy future where cheerios is a tier deck and safe from bans. It does exactly the type of stuff WOTC seems to dislike. This might also signal the death of Mox Opal. My guess.

The thing is it isn't a wild claim at all. Its an widespread observed phenomenon that has been corroborated evidently by Mark Rosewater himself. Burden of proof is equal among both parties plain and simple.

I cannot confirm this but I don't doubt for one second that this isn't the case. They (WotC) knew the card was going to be good. Time will tell on this one.

I do agree that with the current state of U/x/x in Modern, prices are overly ridiculous. Ancestral Vision is at 50$ and only sees regular play in Grixis Control, a Tier 2 archetype.
Do you think right now is a good/even/bad time to buy some blue staples like Celestial Colonnade, some Snapcasters, Cryptic Command, etc?.
All blue decks are pretty terrible right now and their prices reflect that. It's a great time to buy. Snaps are $35 and Cryptics are under $20.

TCG Player has a few Snapcasters for $36 shipped. There are two copies right now on eBay for $34. Cryptic Command is $15-17 on TCG Player, depending on version, and $18-19 on eBay.

MM17 is tricky. Cards reprinted WILL see a dip, but will level out and then continue to clime depending on play value. BUT, any card NOT reprinted will spike uncontrollably (like Goblin Guide and Blood Moon when MM15 released). While it's entirely possible that Snapcaster Mage will be reprinted, Cryptic Command may not. And even with a Snapcaster reprint, there is uncertainty there too. Will it use ISD art or the RPTQ art? Will it be upshifted to Mythic? Will it be an "extra rare" Rare? Even if stars align and Snap is reprinted with original ISD art and all is well, I really can't see him dipping below ~$20.
But again, all it takes is one successful Uxx deck to cause his price to spike out of control (regardless of reprint), and just like that, he's back to $50+. If cards from a new set come out or an unbanning happens or this or that happens and Uxx Snapcaster decks become good again, it may be regrettable not to have bought them at "only" $35.

I agree that there is a very low chance of cryptic being reprinted. It's been on a stable decline with the lack of blue decks that are popular, and many that are popular don't even play cryptic/snap. Picking what cards are going to be reprinted seems so hit or miss at this point, there are few cards that can be pinned down as reprints, particularly lily and snap because of their announcement that mm2017 will go through the innstrad block. I think the most reliable way to approach modern masters 2017 is pick up key cards that are most likely to not see a reprint, but will see increased play due to possible reprints. Worst case scenario they don't see increased play and hold their price, but at least you won't get tanked in the face by buying something that gets reprinted and plummets.
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

That depends on what you consider a "safe investment". I got into the deck before Paladin/Retract spiked, but that was only because I already owned the Mox Opals. If you only need two play sets of those two cards, then it's worth whatever mileage you're able to squeeze out of it between now and the eventual point when the deck is either hated out of the meta or crippled due to a ban (i.e. mox opal). Either way, I wouldn't suggest it if you're more concerned with the investment aspect rather than being able to play the deck in the short-term; the deck is ******* filthy though, so if you plan on playing the ***** out of it then you'll most likely get your money's worth in personal enjoyment/opponent's tears alone.
Is it a good idea to buy 4x Goblin Guides at 18 eur each? I know they are most likely getting reprinted, but I'm scared that too many people are waiting for MM to buy everything in bulk. Do you guys think their price could get much lower than that?
Why do you want them? If you own modern decks besides burn/zoo (if that's what you want them for) just avoid them till about a month after mm2. If you don't have too much invested in modern and are looking to get into the format and are planning on keeping the deck for an extended period of time I would pick them up now. Either way make sure you have the rest of the deck, particularly the eidolons before MM2017, because Eidolons cannot be reprinted and will most likely go up with a goblin guide reprint. Prioritize everything else in the deck then go for guides.

Edilon is a safe purchase as far as MM is concerned. The eligible sets won't reach to theros.
That doesn't mean it won't show up else where, but considering they've already had the fire/lightning premium deck as well I wouldn't really think it's in jeopardy of a reprint just yet. The enchantment type may weigh in on when it can see a reprint as well, as thus far those creatures are specific to theros.

I think voice is unlikely, I realize it's probably one of the most "Chase" cards in the Ravnica block, but I doubt they would kill the only value in gatecrash. I can see them focusing more on Avr, Inn, and picking out value from older sets. Do you guys think they will theme MM2017 with an Innistrad block theme, kind of how the last MM had eldrazi with other stuff sprinkled in? Also do you think it is likely we will see an original linvala reprint soon?

That's an interesting theory. Though outside of Eldrazi Temple and the titans, I don't see much else connection. Those are also big splashy cards from the newly-added MM sets that have medium Modern playability, so I don't know if there's a direct connection, but it's an interesting correlation.
They'll reprint Voice of Resurgence as it's one of the few high in demand modern cards from the Return to Ravnica block, and they even stated that the new set will be giving special focus to Innistrad and RtR blocks. The better question is what they are reprinting other than voice. Doubling Season could very well be in there depending on the theme, and we know for sure that Liliana of the Veil and Snapcaster Mage are going to be present.

We do not know for sure that Lili and Snap will be present. Of course, if they are not, it will probably send sales through the floor, but that is no guarantee. You could say it is a sort of 'Lili, Snap, Damnation. Pick 2' situation.
