I'm from Europe and Goblin guide is dropping here right now. I can get a playset for approx. 80euros (that's 20e less than two/three months ago).
Is it the right time to buy it?
Has it any chance to be in MM2017?
If you have any intention of playing with goblin guides, or have the cards on hand for burn you might as well pick them up right now. You still get a good 5 months of play out of it even if the price drops in the case that it does get reprinted. On the off chance it doesn't then you got yourself a great deal.
Guys please opinions on japanese cards. Lost a 3/3 creature against Japan celestial colonade. This guy played all creatures and spells in english cards, but some cards in his manabase was japanese. I dont registrated this really ( my brain say its all fine and all english to me lets attack his empty board)...and i am sure it is a Kind of legal cheating. It is not ok, but i know legal. I Hate such people. I never forget colonade normally, but with this Tricks it can happen one time in 3 years and such people take advantage of this
If I am a customer spending premium amount of dollars, I expect a premium service. Jund falls into the category of a premium deck costing more dollars than a majority of the rest of the format. I'm not getting the desired performance ratio per dollars spent out of the Jund deck because WOTC decided to make the format more diverse.
I picked up quite a few foil & non-foil play sets last week for the sole reason that it was cheap and something I wouldn't be surprised to see spike out of the blue.

Is now a good time to buy allied fetches, they seem to floating right at $10-12. This seems pretty good compared to recent prices or is there more downward trend with the kld fastlands?

That pricetag seems all upside to me, you won't be able to flip it for a profit in the immediate future, but that's an extremely appealing buy-in price. I would recommend this purchase for sure and not look back.
Wow! And I thought $12 for a play set from danbock was too high. The card is part of a presumed Madcap Experiment deck. It's also the reason for spikes on Platinum Emperion.

SaffronOlive is the new Travis Woo. Best part is, the madcap/pact deck doesn't even work lol. I bet you'd win 99% of your games with snap/bolts, of the few that you'd actually win. Essentially, the card needs to be in the bottom 10 cards of your library once digging is done. His version isn't even fast enough to race the fast decks in the format and hilariously, burn is an awful match up. They push your life total super low so that if it's not at the very bottom, you don't kill them. They have skullcrack/atarka's command and if you get to like 51-53 life, then pay 50 you will just die to a single spell. I wanted the deck to be great and tested it for a week but was very saddened by the results. Maybe if modern ever slows down.

Good to know. Yes, he is the new Woo. I was a big fan of Woo's and now I pay attention to Saffron Olive's vids occasionally. I nearly bought an MTGgoldfish mat because I like his content and have bought into a few of his poor, yet fun, decks.

Saffron copies lists most of the time without changing them much. The new brewer series is nice, yeah, but honestly Woo is putting the better brewing content out.
/edit: and some Woo decks are playable to some extent.
Would it be a good time to cash out unused modern staples? I have some enemy fetches and things like Goblin Guide that may get reprinted soon. I intend to buy some of the reprints in Conspiracy2 and Eternal Masters.
Modern prices seems stable to me, but I have not been actively playing for a long while, so I may be mistaken. Do you guys thing that we are a stable point, and the overall price of staples will only go down?

I've been liquidating most non-foil staples if I have more than a play set. However, that's only because I'm paranoid Hasbro will eventually go loco with special re-print sets, expeditions in every block, etc and tank the market. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm moving everything I don't need into sealed product/legacy staples.
Any thoughts of if any vehicles or Kaladesh cards will make a splash in modern? Any of the Gearhulks or something like Smuggler's Copter? They're already spiked but wondering if they have staying power.... any opinions are appreciated!

I think you are going to find that it is going to be much easier to get a good price on new Rare cards that find a place in modern. The wholesale box price has a lot of power over the resale market of a set while it is in print, which means that the resale value of the cards in that set, added together, will never be a lot more than that price (not sure what the margin of error is). Thus when there are cards that are quite expensive and harder to get the lower rarity cards have to go down. Mythics and increased print runs have a done a lot to drive down rare prices for this reason and the neo-expiditions will have an additional impact.
I bring that up in response to your question because I think that if you are buying to play and don't have a time pressure on when you need cards then it is almost always going to be wait and know what will be played in Modern than to try and predict playable rares in the long run. You can save some money that way, but for my money it is not worth the added cost of the duds you will get when you and the community are wrong.
Obviously everything I am saying about Rares is true for lower rarites as well.

Don't you think that Legacy staples may suffer from the same problem, probably there will be more Eternal Masters and "Conspiracy like" editions? Or are you buying only reserved list staples.
If I had extra staples I would have sold them all too.
Is there a particular reason? Is it a good time to buy cards?
Changes to prizing payouts/redemption and uncertainty from a lot of the playerbase as to the viability of MTGO going forward caused a bit of a panic sell over the weekend. I think it will taper off - if you're looking to play MODO (NOT speculate in it, it's too volatile) then I think you should buy things you've been waiting to drop.

People are leaving in droves after they switched the rewards for tournaments from sealed packs to prize chests. The difference is that the prize chests can't be used to draft with or traded / sold for value to get singles: They have to be opened on the spot. That pretty much killed the game for a huge number of players.

I will say that Snapcaster and Liliana are about as safe as an MM2017 bet can get. Not guaranteed but all but certain as far as predictions go.
