I *hope* Engineered Explosives will get a reprint, but please don't forget that this set is probably already printed and sitting in a warehouse somewhere - it's completely unreasonable to hope for reprints based on current spikes and availability.
How much do we expect Liliana, the Last Hope to drop further? I wish to get the sideboard one off, but I am not sure if we are at "rock bottom" yet, or if I could better wait for a month or two.

she's $60 Canadian right now, which reflects how much she's being played. I can't see her dropping below $50 at all

It is 23-25 Euro (40 CND) on MCM and dropping. I was wondering if the card could hit 20 euro or lower.
This thread is full of idiots... Lightning Bolt is NOT being reprinted.
Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.
Planning to buy a 1 or 2 Smuggler's Copter. People are talking about how it could be useful in some Modern decks. Is it a good decision to buy some now? Or would the prices go down after some weeks?

With the price of Chandra and the masterpiece series, I wouldn't be surprised if this drifted down a good bit after the initial month of release. You have the opportunity of getting the cost of your box in like 2-4 cards if you're moderately lucky right now based on presale prices (which is silly really). Chandra'a preorder price feels like JtMS and JVP applying downward pressure on singles prices all over again.
The masterpiece series aren't l highly daughter after lands this time so I don't expect some of those prices to stick at the preorder level. There realistically may not be much demand for them in comparison.
That being said, if I plan on picking up a single and it's less than a booster I usually just fire off and grab em. Pseudo haste & loot on all your creatures for the rest of the game has powerful potential if your opponent can't answer it. For 2 generic mana that's a pretty good rate for at the very least kitchen table demand.
Can someone explain why noble hierarch has one of the smallest foil "premiums" of almost any staple I've seen? A normal run is about $65, a foil one is about $75.

Lots of people didn't like the MM2 foiling process and there are two more desirable foil versions of the card. If you're foiling out a deck you're already committing to spending more for a purely aesthetic reason, so there's no reason to not go for one of the better foil printings.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll just get one for testing purposes, then get the rest when prices have settled down.
I wish that MM3 was all about reprinting what's expensive , but I think it's more of what WOTC thinks it would make a better MM3 draft. Tarmogoyf will be the face of MM3 for sure, but I would like LOTV, EE+others as well.
Considering that MM3 is based on Innistrad and up I think the chances of Veil being there are 100 percent...

$27 for an uncommon? Is that a Modern frame record?
Also, the concept of Engineered Explosives being more expensive than Jace the Mind Sculptor is just bizarre to me.
its from coldsnap. also, of note from that set: counterbalance $15-20

What about Blood Moon? You think it's a good time to purchase a playset?
Greetings King
It looks like the price has been dropping recently, however, i think it would be better to spend a little more and buy the ones from the dark instead of the new frame. Its only about $10-15 more and they will hold their value better. Plus if old school magic takes off, i wouldn't be surprised if it goes close to $100.
I just bought the last english one i needed for my playset (english the dark) off ebay for ~$50.

I personally would purchase the Moons from chronicles as I love white borders and the card design. Just wanted to know if the its the right time
I think the bridge will be in MM3 and the prices go to lower by 50% but i was thinking on get an 8th edition playset the next month by 84€ (21€ each) from a friend of ... its a good buy? its for build a latern control deck, only need bridged and the cheap artifacts

100% agreed. I would be incredibly surprised for LOTV to not be included as the focal point of the announcement involved saying that we were going to innistrad.

Why would we get either of those? Both got reprinted recently and both aren't expensive whatsoever. If you can't afford those then modern isn't the format for you.

I can't really see goyf and Lotv both being in the set. It'll make it incredibly chase heavy and I don't want crap like comet storm popping up to compensate. WotC may be looking into cashing in a pretty penny but this would surprise me. Honestly I can see it going either way but not both.
I feel like snapcaster mage is the only card I think is a definite. He's splashy, recognizable, widely played, leads to an interesting and unique draft deck, and is from INN. At the current price a small dip is welcome but I think the demand is high enough to absorb the supply without throwing the market out of line.
They are not cheap though and the reprints we got are not massive ones. LOTV, Damnation, Fulminator Mage, Spellskite, maybe Inquisition Of Kozilek, Snapcaster Mage, Tarmogoyf, Mishra's Bauble, Engineered Explosives, plus fetchlands is what I would like to see, although all of them are not happening I guess.
Thoughtseize was in Theros. You can't get any more massive a reprint than the first set of a standard block. It tanked the price from $60 to $10. IoK is in an in-print, print to demand set. Just because they're not as cheap as you want them to be doesn't mean they haven't been reprinted on a large scale.

5678I noticed Mishra's Bauble is already 27$ for an uncommon card, that's nuts considering its a 4 of in only 1 deck I believe death's shadow.
other cards needing reprints are commons like Utopia Sprawl and simian spirit guide
