My question is how major will this increase in price be and how long should I hold on to them? It's very tempting to sell some of those cards now as some people are saying they will go down in price first then back up after some time. But I don't know if it's really worth it to wait 5 years to make a couple more bucks. And even if the cards go up 500% in 10 years, I'm not sure I have the patience to wait that long lol.

Eidolon is the only one that you mention that I think might not drop much, the rest are played a little in Modern and are good enough that they could be played more. I know I am hanging on to mine for playing, but I don't really need what I could get for mine. Baring a spike due to a new powerful deck they will probably just creep up very slowly. Thassa will grow a little faster because she is a legendary mythic so has more EDH appeal.
Of you are only holding them to get a better price then you might as well sell them. The people that hold on to cards either anticipate playing them (me), or bought into a lot of copies cheaply and are looking for a large profit. For the average person with a play set of cards they don't think they will be playing there is not much point in hanging on to them for 5 years.
That said, there are a lot of people who complain about the cost of the format but would have been in better shape had they held on to cards. I can only play Modern because I bought and pulled cards I liked and played over the past 14+ years. I like to brew decks so I have tended to keep around most of my cards, and when Modern was announced I had a lot of the popular cards. I pulled a bunch of IoK during ROE and I kept them because they don't take up a lot of space and I could see using them later. Now I have a couple of play sets to use and can trade the extra for what don't have.

Out of the cards you listed only Eidolon and Chord are solid specs. The others are barely played, if at all. They are playable but that doesn't mean the price will go up much. If you don't mind holding on to them than do so, otherwise I'd get out from under cards like Thassa and Goblin Rabblemaster and turn them into Polluted Deltas.
Ok thanks. I'm definitely keeping Eidolons because if I start playing Modern or Legacy again it will probably be Burn or Goblins since I also have Goblin Guides and Chain Lightnings.
I'm going to sell or trade the rest of my cards except for fetchlands.
I double sleeve all foils (KMC perfect fit and hyper mat), and I don't even double sleeve my whole deck, and my FNM TO has never thought my deck was marked in any way (my opponents have never said anything either). I used my FTV Urborg a lot last year in a deck with no other foils and only about 60% double sleeved. Granted, I knew going into it that a judge could rule that my deck was close enough to being marked that they could DQ me, so I was prepared for that reasonable judgment. I know I can't cut to any particular card in the decks that have this make-up, but it is understandable if the judge thinks it is a reasonable concern. If that had happened ( or happens in the future) I would have come back the next time with a fully double-sleeved, no foil, deck.
My double-sleeve rule is all foils and cards worth more than $5 get a perfect fit that stays on.
Later I learned that my opponent was also a judge and was friends with both the table judge and head judge. A friend wondered whether they were helping him out a bit too zealously. But I believe this does constitute marked cards and as such now all my non-rotating or eternal format decks are fully double sleeved, as are my Standard decks which contain any eternal staples (like Thoughtseize).
They weren't, at all. What you did was totally illegal.
Yep, I learned that the hard way. Hence why I said it's all or nothing with double sleeving with my decks now.
Edit - also, please don't quote out the context. It was my first comp REL event since before people played with sleeves. Of course it was illegal. But I didn't know it at the time and I posted it as a cautionary tale.
I shuffle hard at times, so foils tend to warp on me. Although now that I double sleeve, it's a lot harder to warp cards from rough handling.
Nevertheless, I prefer to pimp out my decks with foreign language cards or various nonfoil promos, like textless promos.
Understand, Dredge is not really a Magic: The Gathering deck. When a card is playable in it, it doesn't mean it's a tournament playable card. It means it's playable in whatever crazy fantasy world that Dredge operates in.
The point of this product isn't to reprint value, its for producing a complete and balanced 1v1 magic experience. The decks are usually tuned and adjusted to be played against each other and be really fun.
You'd only know its poorly made after playing with it (which you haven't), you can't judge it solely based on what value you can rip it apart for--they're made partially so you DON'T do that.
---manland reprint is interesting, I really hope we get a full cycle of 10 over the course of the block.
Playing millions of cards every turn... Slowly and systematically obliterating any chance my opponent has of winning... Clicking the multitude of locking mechanisms into place... Not even trying to win myself until turn 10+ once I have nigh absolute control... Watching my opponent desperately trying to navigate the labyrinthine prison that I've constructed... Seeing the light of hope fade and ultimately extinguished in an excruciatingly slow manner... THAT'S fun Magic.

Near Mint: The same as Slightly Played, but we threw some Altoids in the box we stored it in to cover up the scent of dead mice. Slightly Played: The base condition for all MTG cards. This card looks OK, but there’s one minor annoying ding in it that will always irritate and distract you whenever you draw it. Moderately Played: This card looks like it survived the Tet Offensive tucked inside the waistband of GI underwear. It may smell like it, too. Heavily Played: This card looks like the remains of Mohammed Atta’s passport after 9/11. It may be playable if you double-sleeve it to stop the chunks from falling out. The condition formerly known as "Washing Machine Grade" Damaged: This card is the unfortunate victim of a Mirrorweave/March of the Machines/Chaos Confetti/Mindslaver combo.
[M]aking counterfeit cards is the absolute height of dishonesty. Ask yourself this question: Since most people...are totally cool with the use of proxies...what purpose do [high] quality counterfeit cards serve?
That is a very poorly made duel deck series. It has no selling points at all. Instant discount product. They need to stop reprinting the same rares........Butcher of Malakir and scute mob! So unless oblivian sower is a really chase rare this is a very bad duel deck. Thankly my friend buys this junk and I'll get to play it for a few laughs but come on wizards. Do better. How about a fetchland? Just through one in. The knans ones.
They reprinted it that betrays which had risen to just shy of $14 and we got a re print of a manland, the value is definitely there for a $20 product.

I understand why the cycles are different, but I find it strange that the presence of Stirring Wildwood suggests the full cycle will be reprinted, but the presence of Primal Command doesn't. It won't surprise me when your intuition ends up being right, but it just feels inconsistent from a design standpoint.

The decks also have a Mirage dual, but I'm not sure that means that they will be reprinted. They could, but I don't think all reprints in DD need to be Standard legal (too lazy to verify). If they were reprinted it would really put a damper of the enemy fetches being reprinted in the second set. It would be weird to have rare and uncommons fetch style lands in Standard at the same time.
As you can see, many of the cards that were in it, weren't included in Return to Ravnica block. Only 10/120 cards were standard legal actually.
Right. But you've omitted the part where ktkenshinx suggested that the presence of Stirring Wildwood meant that they're probably reprinting of the rest of the cycle:
I don't actually think that Cryptic Command will be reprinted. I just don't understand why Stirring Wildwood indicates anything about the other manlands.

We're agreeing with each other. I'm not convinced that the manlands are coming back, although I do admit that it makes a lot of sense for that to happen in Zendikar block.

Normally, I wouldn't be too optimistic about cards returning in a main set if they show up in a Duel Deck. Wizards has definitely reprinted cards for one and not the other in the past. But in this case, the timing seems too convenient. The manlands are the Zendikar manlands, and I can definitely see them returning to Standard. There's also a lot of unexplored space with enemy manlands, and I can't imagine Wizards hasn't identified this. To me, this all points to a decent chance that the cards return in BFZ proper.
The decks also have a Mirage dual, but I'm not sure that means that they will be reprinted. They could, but I don't think all reprints in DD need to be Standard legal (too lazy to verify). If they were reprinted it would really put a damper of the enemy fetches being reprinted in the second set. I think it'd be so funny for them to reprint the mirage cycle at uncommon. People keep saying 'all 10 fetches in standard would suck', but its not like these would see play. Having 22 fetches in standard would be hilarious. 10 fetches, 10 mirage fetches, evolving wilds and terramorphic expanse.
I'd say that given that we have already seen a theme of animating lands in BFZ it is pretty much gospel that we will see manlands. Whether we will see reprints, a new enemy cycle, or what is TBD. The card I have the most confidence in seeing is a new colorless manland. Stalking Stones blows chunks, and it would seem too soon to reprint mutavault. There also seems to be a strong colorless subtheme, though so far I really don't like the way they are going about it.
Oh, and the cards will all cost money on the secondary market.
So I just realized that they're done spoiling stuff for FTV:angels (I've been gone three months) and that there is no Linvala, keeper of silence. Could it be possible that it will be reprinted in the BFZ block? If not will it go up? I need one and I've been waiting for it to be half reasonable.
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

I don't think it will be reprinted, but I guess it's possible that it could. If it doesn't however, I believe that it will definitely go up. It is one of those cards printed a while ago that is sparingly used, but skyrockets until it is reprinted. I don't want to name other cards that it is similar to in this regard because someone will point out some obvious differences, but if not reprinted, it will continue to go up. That much is a guarantee.

I really hope they'll make Modern Masters a yearly thing. I don't care if some of the packages continue to have cards that aren't played in Modern just to make it draftable. If they reprint a selection of Modern's most expensive staples every year, it would really help the format in my opinion. It wouldn't hurt game stores that much because they'd get to sell lots of packs in exchange for very expensive cards dropping 10-20 bucks.
