I find it hard to see Snap going down any time in the near future. At the very least it will be stable and at the worst it will go up. It is not a card generally seen in EDH so I doubt it will see a reprint there. I expect we will see it (at Mythic) in the next run of MM.

I will always firmly stand by the belief that Magic is a game first and a collectable second.

How can a rare that was printed not so long ago in a set that was the most opened set at the time, be so expensive? It doesn't make sense... Is it not just the infatuation because it wasn't printed in MM2? And it'll go down to its original price in a few weeks...
It has done nothing but go up since January http://mtgstocks.com/prints/129. Even if it does come down, it will never hit that $30-35 mark again baring a reprint. People view it as a staple and that alone messes up the price.

I don't think Innistrad was the most opened set. IIRC Return to Ravnica was really popular, and Theros was even more popular than any of the others.

And I highly doubt it will be reprinted any time soon. A Commander reprint will likely not cut the price much, and he can only get reprinted in a set with Flashback (which probably won't be happening any time soon). I would pick them up ASAP.
If I can get future sight tarmogoyfs at tcg low, is it worth it? Im not sure what to think about the future of out favorite Urgoyf's price, but i feel future sight copies will hold more value than the MM copies. I am curious what the up/down side is?

Because of the key words "at the time." Magic has really been gaining popularity over the last few years, resulting in larger print runs for each set due to more players (I believe that starting with Zendikar, each block's first set has had a larger print run than the previous). But this means that the sets with lower print runs when there were fewer players don't have the print runs to match the current playerbase, resulting in inflated prices.

Get whichever one you like the art better on. The difference in price now makes it reasonable to shell out a little more or less--and eventually the prices will probably equalize.
If you get future sight ones--make sure you get NM copies. Actually, do this either way.
So for a while I've been hearing wait until after GP Vegas to buy MM15 cards. When do y'all expect cards to "bottom out" or at least drop a decent ammount. Trying to grab a playset of Hierarch and Bitterblossom.

I'd give it a week or so. You need to give time for the people at the GP to find someone to dump their cards with (and for the vendors who are at the GP to update their stock).
I'd be looking to pick those up at $30 and $20 each.

Considering how pretty much everything from Modern Master 2015 is tanking, best bet to cut your losses now.
Man the price of vendillion clique is crazy, I remember at start of spoilers scg was pre ordering them for like 40, then the price went up like 20-30 bucks. I hope they bottom out at around 30 ish, especially since there usually only played as 1 or 2 of's which makes it hard to rationalize the price, though I guess its a very poorly designed, top heavy set so what can we do.

Hold onto it, you'll be happy you did in six months. Unless you're really trying to get some other cards now and you need them real bad, just wait. All the cards from MM2 will bounce back up sooner than you think--Unlike K-delorean. I recall myself opening '$6 blood moons' and buylisting them for three--look at the price now. I recall up until a few months ago when goyf was 220 kicking myself for thinking that gofys would be $100 forever and I had time to wait to get them when mm1 came out.
I went ahead and took the plunge on the MM mythics I was missing. Blew out the MTG budget for pert near the rest of the year, but I figure at this point I have more to lose from any potential spikes on the big ticket items than I stand to gain by any subsequent drops.
Some people are saying wait and see because the vendors bought out everything and are sitting on it, but I guess I figure that the demand is still going to far outstrip the supply for things like Goyf and Bob, and we're gonna see an eventual spike ala MM1 (albeit probably not as huge).

I said "at the time", the following sets surpassed the others.
Anyway, I'm seriously thinking about getting the snapcaster mages now. But I'm worried he gets a reprint and his price is cut in half. :/
