I don't see Brimaz, King of Oreskos price dropping a lot after rotation. I think it will act a lot like Geist of Saint traft drop to around 10 dollars and rise over time. Brimaz is from a horrible set and a small set to boot. Brimaz is also a single color creature.
Anyone have an explanation for why Inquisition of Kozilek has gone up over $2 in a month? I imagine a reprint in Modern Masters is likely, so can we expect to price to go back down in a month or two?

It's not hard to speculate that organisers of MM2 may have the godbook so information may spread and caused its rise - other than normal reasons like hoarding and demand issues.

It's now the go-to hand disruption in both Junk and Jund, even over Thoughtseize. More people are playing it as a 4of now.

Potentially, but you have to understand that GoST was, and is, played as an automatic 4 of in every deck it's played in - which is a lot more more than Brimaz is featured in and Brimaz is usually only a 1-2 of in the decks it's played in. Realistically, I can see Brimaz drop considerably after rotation. It will rise over time of course but if Geist was a $10 card after rotation expect Brimaz to be lower, there is far less demand for Brimaz than there is Geist.
the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.
Yep, knocking someone down to 10 life is pretty awesome

I'm going to get rid of my Brimaz play set while they still have a decent value and pick a couple up after rotation. I bought them for 20 dollars each .
Goblin Rabblemaster Hold or Sell? Rabblemster being a goblin may have some potential in the future in Modern. I'm not using them at the moment so I'm thinking of letting them go.
I just sold my playset of Rabblemasters. They are only rares and were also the buy-a-box promo (I think) so there is plenty of supply (unlike Brimaz who was the chase mythic in a set that was hardly opened). They also haven't found a home outside of standard so I expect them to drop quickly after rotation and would get out while you can. I sold mine at $15 store credit each. I don't think you'll be able to get more than maybe $8 post-rotation and expect them to drop below $5 pretty quickly...
I think that Tiny Leaders and some of the other casual formats may help rabblemaster keep a little value after rotation but it won't be nowhere near what you can get out of them now.
I do think Tiny Leaders will lose its lustre in a few years; probably even earlier.
I don't think Rabblemaster is modern playable. Gimme Goblin Lackey in a Standard environment first and then we can discuss. lol One should sell them while it's high. Brimaz is the white elephant in the set. Really expensive and fringe playable in eternal formats.

I have to agree. While I enjoy the format, it's much more restrictive and constructed-like than traditional commander (which, imo, is a big reason for its pull).
Mana Confluence Hold or sale? will it see play in modern. It is better than City of Brass but it can be replaced by City of Brass. I'm thinking sale or trade for more Fetches.
I've just watched that Atarka's command is rapidly increasing its price. I would like to add them to my Burn deck, but I'm not sure if I should try and get them right now or wait to see if it lowers its price.
I need some Noble Hierarchs for my Hatebears list, so I'm hoping it's reprinted in MM2015. If it is, and assuming it stays at rare and isn't bumped to mythic (would be kind of ridiculous for a mana dork), how much will it fall?

The deck that took down the Pro Tour is running 4 Atarka's Command main. It's not going to drop for awhile.
What does everyone think about another possible reprint for Blood Moon? I mean it was already reprinted a number of times, including MM1, so i don't know if i should hold off on getting 2 now or in a few months.

I could see it at $20, it is only used in a few decks, it is just a dork, and most of the time I prefer Birds. it really is just a supply issue

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
I've been wondering lately if the actual demand for Goyf as a competitive card compared to the supply _should_ have it just somewhat higher than it is on MTGO (perhaps something like $80 to the $65 is is right now on MTGO), but that most of the price on it is just speculation combined with the fact that pros can pay whatever due to sponsorship and such.
How would WotC fight the speculators in such a case? And how much should they increase the supply to decrease the price for the competitive market to grow (so what should be their target price for Goyfs to fall to)?

I know many people that buys 10+ extra copies of each staple. They "hide" them from the market, and, since many people do that, cards price increases far faster then the "normal". Those people do not have card shops, they do not sanction torments, in other words, they don't do anything for the game, but making it harder for people to get in it.
The target price for Goyf (or most of other rare staples) should be the prince of a rare that is standard legal and extremely played on all formats. The best way of stopping speculation would be giving the message that, the more expansive a card is, more likely it is to get an efficient reprint. Over time, this would lead cards to a lower equilibrium price.
The problem is that - it seems like - WotC thinks that it's ok for a card to be very expensive. They think that it is ok that not everybody can buy every card.
It's very annoying and I personally disagree, but I think that WotC has no interest in lowering the price of Goyf that much.
