Do you think the enemy fastlands from Kaladesh will drop much more after rotation? Or have they already bottomed out at $4-6?

They'll drop a bit as standard-only players are squeezing every penny of value they can. Some will have Blooming Marshes but no desire to build a BGx modern deck. I am waiting a month, but if you need them I don't think they are going to drop so much that you'd really be overpaying.

Yeah, I don't think the fast lands have hit their bottom yet and shock lands are going to drop in price after the standard dual land gold rush is over with. There are probably players who already have shocks that will just reuse old ones as well, so I'm not even sure how quick these lands are going to drop in value. Considering we still have RTR boxes out there and Gatecrash boxes I can't imagine the lands holding much value.

Its a good trade if i change 1x teferi + 1x ancestral vision for 4x collected company? its like 60€ in cards, i have 2 teferis and 4 ancestral more so dont need these cards but its a good moment to trade teferi? its gonna rise more? also collected its gonna be reprintable in mm19 or something for sure so ...

Nobody can know for sure, but I would assume that Teferi will rise in price when a large number of cards rotate out (leaving him even more alone on the high end of Standard power) and Rav starts getting drafted.

It's going to crash hard after Guilds releases. The card will be strong in Legacy/Modern, but it's going to be fairly mediocre in standard like Path to Exile was the last time it was in standard. Plus with how hyped the set is and people liking Ravnica it will be opened a lot. I'd say it'll hit $35 just before release and after the first week drop to about 20 before sliding more.

Given vraska's contempt was a $15 USD card for quite some time, I doubt it'll slide much. If path could hit walkers and enchantments, sure accurate assessment. This is going to see standard play for sure.

It'll see some play for sure, but ramping your opponent is a huge cost that a lot of people are underestimating. Just saw a starcity video that highlighted the issue. Use Assassin's Trophy to take out Legion Warboss and they immediately play the 5 drop 6/6 flying trample demon. I've been wrong before, but I don't see it staying over $20 a month after GRN release.

What surprised me is that it's out of stock at some online places like SCG.. some people are probably buying this at 30+? Their decks can't wait or thinking it might rise more?

I do hope you're right. Will wait for it to fall around the 10-15 before buying... only need one anyway, for replacing the single abrupt decay in my BGx.

scg might be faking scarcity by relisting, but that theory is a little too tin foil hat for my tastes.

i predict assassin's trophy's price will stay afloat for longer than a week. perhaps 2 or 3 weeks, or even a month. the cards power is at face value, people dont need to speculate if a 2 mana instant speed vindicate is playable. so there is going to be a large surge of demand from multiple formats.

i doubt people are still speccing on it at this point. even a hardcore long-term spec is risky at 30 bucks. a cards power doesnt always determine how much it sees play. like legacy for instance, BGx is already on shaky ground to begin with - maybe sultai 'whatever' decks never take off. i have zero doubt it will be a feature of standard, but as pointed out the context of the format could make the downside too punishing; or maybe GB decks dont have the support to surround the card.

long story short. if you open one, and dont need copies yourself to play right away, dump em as fast as you can; even if you have to undercut other sellers/traders by 15-20%.

For someone who's had most of UC ans jeskai control pieces for a while and has grown a bit tired of playing slow control games, I'm enjoying UR and jeskai aggro/tempo more. Maybe try jund or a tron deck.

So is now a good time to sell celestial colonnades or are they expected to go up more?

As others pointed out it will go down on release. What is happening now is the pre-order supply is drying up and there wont be more until the release hits, so this results in the price climb we see on popular cards. This also feeds into what a lot of people probably dub the pre-order feeding frenzy, where players hungry to get the cards they need see the price move up and jump in out of fear the price will go higher. It's basically the same as having blood in the water with sharks.

I feel like if you aren't using them Colonnades, now is a great time to sell. They seem primed for a Masters reprint, whenever those come back, and will likely tank them in half.

If supply is like Dominaria, it might be holding high for a few months. Wizards has been doing a lot of different things right now to figure out what works now that standard just got crushed from two years of bad press.

People are trying to spec on them being the new hot thing in modern. There's a way to make it into a t1 kill and you can use it in 8 whack builds. I can't see it doing much in any other format though so I'd cash in if you open one fast.

The old Christmasland deck that was a T1 SSG, mountain, 4 pact of the titan, and a Bushwhacker... can now also win with this in place of one of the pacts.

Should help me buy an Assassin's Trophy when teeg become sold.

I'm going to trade in/sell some stuff at the LGS tomorrow and probably pick up Teeg for my Knightfall deck (undefeated over 6 matches, yeah!) and fully embrace the 'turn em sideways'.
