Guys please opinions on japanese cards. Lost a 3/3 creature against Japan celestial colonade. This guy played all creatures and spells in english cards, but some cards in his manabase was japanese. I dont registrated this really ( my brain say its all fine and all english to me lets attack his empty board)...and i am sure it is a Kind of legal cheating. It is not ok, but i know legal. I Hate such people. I never forget colonade normally, but with this Tricks it can happen one time in 3 years and such people take advantage of this

I'm not getting the desired performance ratio per dollars spent out of the Jund deck because WOTC decided to make the format more diverse.

So eidolon of the great revel will hit 20 you guys think? I got to justify my spec buys to my wife who is skeptical since i didnt offload my last specs at a profit, just broke even.
Will snapcaster get below 20, is the REAL question for personal play though.. lol
$20 seems like a safe bet. I'd place it somewhere in the $15-$30 range, depending on print run of the set and how many speculators get in on it. Impossible to say if you'll be able to offload it at those prices, but I'd expect a %100 profit at the very least.
If it means anything to her, you can tell your wife this is from someone who bought Snapcaster Mage at $5 a piece, Deathrite Shaman at $4, and Boros Reckoner at $3. (The Reckoner seller stiffed me though; didn't even cancel the order. Still sore about that one.)

I would be shocked if he dropped to $20, feels like those staples are pretty established at a base line (Goyf, Bob, Noble) and while Snaps is Rare, if he is upshifted it wont go much under $40, and hes 1 Tier 1 deck away from going back up.
i don't know about eidolon, the demand on naya zoo and burn will likely climb a little but there's a lot of supply, journey into nyx is just before khans so there's tons of eidolons around. plus it's hard to see if demand is growing because most of the buys are now friggin speculators which only want some money and won't play the card. if it doesn't go past 10 dollars then a lot of people will sell their eidolons and prices will drop again.
I don't think it was. Theros block as a whole didn't seem to do too well. It has a bunch of good modern staples but for standard it was rather low-power.
Journey was also the last set of a three-set block. Pretty sure the draft format for that time was Theros-born-journey. So even draft wise it wasn't opened much. Born of the gods was also pretty bad.

Why haven't prices on Zendikar fetches really changed yet?
theyve all dropped 2-5 bucks. give it a few days for people to panic and sell them. they probably will drop to 30-40 each just before the set and 20-30 when the set is released. thats my guess

They change as a function of supply and demand. Neither of those things has really changed yet.
At the time of the announcement, you would expect additional sellers in the market, thereby dropping the price a small amount. We've seen this to a small extent, prices are already down a few dollars across the board. The supply should continue to gradually increase as the announcement reaches the rest of the people who didn't receive the news immediately.
But the real increase in supply won't happen until packs are actually cracked.
Playing millions of cards every turn... Slowly and systematically obliterating any chance my opponent has of winning... Clicking the multitude of locking mechanisms into place... Not even trying to win myself until turn 10+ once I have nigh absolute control... Watching my opponent desperately trying to navigate the labyrinthine prison that I've constructed... Seeing the light of hope fade and ultimately extinguished in an excruciatingly slow manner... THAT'S fun Magic.

I don't think they will pull that stunt again and are just going to do one big wave all at once. There will be a lot more boxes out there than modern masters 2015 due to the fetches alone being in the set, but there's no way of knowing how many boxes there actually are. Kind of unfortunate I can't afford a box for fun right now thanks to all that real life stuff getting in the way like needing new clothes.

I will be ticked if they reprint bolt, as I am finally finding that people actually need them now amd again. Til this past year everyone's dog had 10 playsets it seemed. I also really don't want to see ANY suspend in MM3, but Boros charm could be really fun in a draft set that supports allied colors.
I hear ya on not being able to get a box. I need to sell something so I can get one. I still trade uncommons from MM2 for cheap rares, and I finished affinity off back then by trading stuff I opened from that set. So much fun.
I don't think we will see Rift Bolt since they mentioned Unearth. The only question I got is what exactly are they reprinting with unearth that needs reprinting? I'd suspect we will see Hellspark elemental and due to the high concentration of non-basics probably Anathemancer. I think lava spike and lightning bolt are both up for reprints since they can take a low rarity slot.

I've heard that this set will have a Standard Print Run, as in, it will keep going until we decide to not buy it anymore.
Can anyone confirm or is this limited release? Anyone in contact with distributors in the states who can confirm/deny this?
From what I heard it was just one really massive print run of boxes. The channels I've been watching like MTG headquarters and Desolator Magic both mentioned that even non-wpn stores are getting orders of 500-1000 boxes of product in some cases so we are looking at a really heavily printed set. The only cards I can see bouncing back after this are fetches due to their ubiquity and the insane demand for them that hasn't been met for years.
Distributor price is 129 usd approx so singles sellers who got these at distributor rates will be making a mint if they move fast.
