Enchantment Creature - Insect
When Brain Maggot enters the battlefield, target opponent reveals his or her hand and you choose a nonland card from it. Exile that card until Brain Maggot leaves the battlefield.
Potentially other copies of Tidehollow anyone? The 1 Toughness does make it an easy kill, but it's easy to splash. I don't know if it's the best turn two compared to Wrech Mind but I think it's still strong. Plus the fact it is an enchantment must be useful somewhere!
Am I getting too hyped or is this card very decent?
Tidehollow Sculler sees play in decks that want hand disruption/reveal, but want as few non-creature spells as possible for some reason. Examples might be decks with Thalia or Vial, aggressive strategies such as those of BW tokens and Team Italia, or brews trying to make Immortal Servitude work. It's also generally a well-liked and popular card. So yeah, it might not in half the most competitive decks, and it's not even a top 50 creature in modern, but it sees play.
Maggot is inferior in many ways. It's not abusable with bouncing (same update as as O-Ring vs. Banishing Light, and Fiend Hunter vs. Banisher Priest), it has a smaller body, it doesn't get boosted by white-only, zombie-only or artifact-only anthems and effects, and it might get hit by a few more destroy spells. Still, it might see some fringe play as Sculler #5 and #6, or in decks that need a Sculler but don't want to go white for it.
The only reason I can see to run this over that other guy that was the same thing but not an enchantment (No, not Tidehollow Sculler, the other one) is if you want one that's an enchantment. Maybe in an Eidolon of Blossoms/Whatever Enchantress deck?

*Insert giant block of annoying garbage that no one cares about but you have to scroll past anyway here*
I didn't even notice that it's an enchantment. I think that actually makes it a little bit worse. It would take a very specific deck to take advantage of that fact, and the rest of the time the extra card type just makes it vulnerable to more kinds of removal.
I think the best thing maggot has going for it is that its easier to cast--which is huge. the 1/1 body obviously isnt as good, but grixis can run this and that is dope--it doesn't really need to be abusable by bounce because the lists that would be interested in that are the ones that can run skuller and would.
Some are talking about it in Zur, the Enchanter decks.
I'm considering replacing the Scullers with this, because it can be fetched with Zur. It does seem worse than Sculler in a lot of ways though. I think because of the text difference, it's not quite as nice as Sculler (opponent can't respond to trigger with Bolt or something without losing a card in their hand forever -- though this is a fringe case and usually played around fairly easily).
Enchantment creature is the key here -- for better or worse.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.

Then play the abuse-able ones and add this as redundancy.
Let's brainstorm:
1cc: Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek, Aether Vial, (Duress? Raven's Crime?)
2cc: Brain Maggot, Tidehollow Sculler, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Leonin Relic-Warder
3cc: Sin Collector, Oblivion Ring, Banishing Light, Fiend Hunter, Banisher Priest, **Atheros, God of Passage**
4cc: Restoration Angel
^It sounds like we agree that it's only going to see play in decks that for some reason want Sculler #5 and #6. Your suggestion sounds like one if you choose to remove 'seize and IoK instead of Thalia (cause that's either/or)

Now all that's left is for the stars to align and Insect Tribal becomes a thing, because otherwise Swarmyard's worthless jank.
