One of the coolest things I saw come out of last season's Ritual Gifts deck was the transformational sideboard that switched the deck from a storm deck to a a Splinter Twin deck. By using a transformational sideboard the deck was able to dodge hate that was boarded in on G2 which allowed it to surprise enemies who boarded out removal. What other combos can we fit in a sideboard of 15 cards?
Gifts / Unburial rites is pretty universal and fits in most sideboards that can play blue and white due to it's small size.
If you have the requisite manabase in a UGR deck along with 2 valakuts, it wouldn't be too tough to add scapeshift to a deck.
Not really a combo so much, but if you're playing a blue/red deck with a decent volume of cantrips, adding in 4x pyromancer ascension to your sideboard could be a great way to surprise an opponent, especially against control. This would work well presumably in a deck like UR Delver, or UR splinter twin, where your opponent's removal spells presumably could give you problems.
Whether these are worthwhile or not is another question however.
The shell I'm mostly thinking of would be U/R using cantrips like Serum Visions, Sleight of Hand etc. to help dig through the deck to assemble your combo be it Pyromancer's Ascension, Splinter Twin, Through the Breach or w/e. Although I'd be interested to see if anyone could come up with transformational sideboards for other decks as well.
I've been toying with the idea of my uwr control sideboard to be 4 exarch, 4 twin, 3 pestermite, and 1 kiki, with three flex slots for matchups where the twjn sb is bad. The problem I found with transformation of storm-->twin is abrupt decay and rakdos return, they can hate both combos and abrupt decay is often left in for ascension or elextromancer. The only creature in my uwr is snapcasters, which removal is already bad against, so it's even further seperated from the hate that could come from decks. Yk?

Several months ago I saw a Bogles deck running the normal mainboard. However the sideboard was something like 4 Glistener Elf, 4 Plague Stinger and some other stuff, I think maybe something for Spellskite or more infecters. The idea was that your opponent would be siding out most of their removal, so you can catch them off guard by suiting up Glistener Elf with your auras. I can't for the life of me find that list, or remember if the deck ever got played or was just someone whistling dixie.
yeah. that's actually a good plan. i wish i had a kiki. haha. i also wish the WUR control deck wasn't so boring to play (as good as it is), but that's another thread

Care to post a deck you're wanting to discuss or work out?
Modern Warp / UR Control / UR Storm / Naya Breachshift / ElectroBalance
Solidarity / Lands / Sneak and Show / Grixis Delver / Reanimator / Belcher / Storm / Dredge
but the easiest is to play some UWx control and mash gifts/unburial for iona or elesh norn.
