I think there should be a Back to Nature but for artifacts instead. Green is the color that is supposed to be the best at dealing with artifacts and enchantments so what's the reason that there is this huge discrepancy between Back to Nature and Creeping Corrosion? Two mana instant uncommon against 4 mana sorcery rare? What the heck? Looks pretty unbalanced if you ask me.
Of course this would be huge against Affinity but the way Wizards is designing cards it probably wouldn't be on their radar anyway and it's not like I want this to destroy Affinity either.
Im just bothered by this unbalance especially after watching the Pro Tour where a ton of people played those UR Ensoul Artifact decks and I was thinking about how these decks would get smashed if there was a similar card for artifacts legal but such a card doesn't even exist.

I actually want to play this card in modern now. I think it is still fair with a cmc of 2. I need something to side in against Merfolk!! also it hates on Tarmogoyf which is nice and, thinking about it more, the ability makes it difficult to play in every deck.

I originally wanted it to put a lore counter on it at the end step unless it already had 7 on there, then have the opponent discard a card for every lore counter on it during their upkeep while you drew a card for every counter on yours. Pretty safe to say I toned it down from there lol

Naya Fetch v2.0
Land
T, Pay 1 life, Sacrifice ~: Search your library for a basic Mountain, basic Forest or basic Plains card and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
So 1.0 gives you access to duals, etc., but is an additional 1 life and you exile the card (so it doesn't feed Delve or GY decks). 2.0 changes it to basic lands only, and keeps the hit a 1 life and just a sacrifice.
This would allow for the enemy and allied 3-colors guilds to be printed.
With them taking their time re-printing the enemy fetches, I'm just looking at options they might have to print a new type of fetch somewhere down the line, that is less powerful then the current fetches, but strong enough to play in Standard / Modern or Legacy.
PS - I know 2.0 is similar to the Panorama's and Evolving Wilds', etc... but the point is to get it into play untapped, even at the cost of a life so you don't lose any tempo in a quick format like Modern. It could even potentially be downgraded to an Uncommon instead of a Rare (making for an easier to get option for budget Modern decks).

I like 2.0, I would almost always search for basics if I could so a cycle of these lands would be very powerful but not broken.
I'd go for a playset of 2.0 in a heartbeat, please and thank-you. 10 blue-fetch esper with 10 basics and six utility lands? sounds tasty to me. throw in a side of back to basics and I'll be done with standard forever, modern would be my jam whenever legacy isn't available.

I do agree, and you could cut the cycling ability from the card and it would be okay, but I kinda wanted the card to be useful lategame. The idea itself came from wanting a 1-drop faerie that was very playable in constructed in case there was a necessity to to counter with Spellstutter Sprite on curve. I could cut the cycling ability but I feel there should be something minor to replace it with if you are worried about absurd power level, but I admit Id play them in almost every blue deck as they stand now...even at 2 mana

Oh it definitely needs a better one drop, it's just when those one drops become good early and late game that I get concerned. I think it doesn't need cycling since its faerie subtype will carry its usefulness into the late game.
Is this too strong for modern/would this see play in modern, and would it power up control more than it would tempo and combo decks?
