What happened to this card? It used to be great for blue-based tempo decks. Did people completely forget that it was reprinted in 8th edition + 10th, or has power creep killed the guy?
Or you can play Delver and just hold your counter in your hand.

1. Aether Vial isn't as strong in this format
2. White two drops are more powerful in shutting down potential plays in this format than Spiketail is.

In case I didn't tell you, I don't care about your opinion I just want your facts. And not the facts that make you seem smart. I want the ones that are actual facts.
Spiketail's power in Vintage fish was typically amplified by the fact that you were playing it off a Mox on turn 1. Then it's just a flying Seal of Force Spike. Plus, in Vintage, creature removal isn't anywhere near as played because there are just way more powerful things every deck wants to do.
