With the recent support for Lantern's IQ tournament and growing cockatrice community I was thinking about recording tournament matches and maybe just some casual games off Cockatrice and uploading them to youtube.
Before I do that though I was wondering if people would even be interested in these videos and if I would get enough support to bother with this venture.
I am not saying these videos would be anywhere near the quality of ChannelFireball and the likes but it would be gameplay and theory from a long time magic player and would allow people to catch up on the games missed from the IQ tournament.

The Stack wants a word with you.
No, me and the stack have a wonderfull relationship ;). We're even getting married (she's a girl you know?)
I would if it was on mtgo, cockatrice's UI is too bad...
Because thats not a bias comment what so ever.
Cockatrice allows user flexablity, as well as working with out restraints. As far as the "UI" he was talking about recording the Lantern's IQ's mostly, and that is people in our Community. Which I might add as has become pretty strong lately.
If you want to comment on something rather then just down casting it, phrase it a bit more constructively.
Back to the point, Slayer you have my support all the way. I can attach your videos to the brackets as well. : )
And sorry about the snapback everyone. I'm diffidently proud of the IQ's and our community, and wont stand for a negative offhand comment.
Cool yea I will def start this now, and will def use any help I can muster (probably going to make a new youtube account for it, my old one is like 7-8 years out of date)
@Lantern I am going to use the rest of IQ 2 to test it out and see what I can improve on then maybe start if up for IQ 3, I would really appreciate a copy of decklists so I don't go into commentary games blind (starting IQ 3 if you wouldn't mind)

Knowing your opponents decks in advance doesn't sound too fair considering that it's a tournament...
Also, I've watched a bunch of LSV videos where he puts modern decks through gauntlets (Daily Events) and he never knows his opponents decklists in advance.

This would be purely for commentating standards, but if people are hesitant about it that is fine (would make commentating easier instead of going "oh, its an island he could be playing Delver, Twin, Tron, Teaching, etc...")
But like I said not too much of a problem

Maybe we can updload them after the tournament ends.
I think his largest qualm was me having access to decklists in general during the tournament (which isn't unvalid), thinking I may gleen some form of advantage about the decks I may face in the IQ based upon what they are playing

Would definitely love to watch. What I always thought would be nice is to have a video section for each primer for link to how the deck works, general decision trees vs some decks, etc. Channel Fireball has some videos, but it would be nice to have a dedicated channel to modern matchups. These videos with commentary could be a great opportunity to do this.
I've considered doing this myself. I'd probably watch. The biggest obstacle I see is pace - it could get really boring watching someone struggle with the interface. If you do this, make sure you master all the shortcuts, and I'd also recommend selecting only opponents you know. There are a lot of garbage decks and players on cockatrice.

Awww sorry if I hurt your fealings, I figured if he was asking it meant people would be able to say yes or no, never though only people saying yes could respond :D.
