Here's the big fat spreadsheet that I accumulated (with the help of Patrick Johnson, patrickj on mtgo) from late October through last weekend. It lists all of the decks in each of the dailies we managed to watch, which came to roughly 2/3 of them or maybe a bit more.
PPE is "packs per entry"
Value is total packs won - (total entries) * 2 - essentially the total number of packs minus entry fees the deck has won if you take the pessimistic but mathematically easy assumption that packs are worth 3 tix per.
So Esper was by far the most successful among the popular decks with nearly 50% of pilots cashing. The next closest were Tron, Affinity, Delver, and the various Fiend decks all hovering in the 30-40% range. That's quite the divide.
Now this may be because Familiar combo is the deck of choice for a lot of Pauper vets (i.e a lot of the best players) however it's making me think a bit more about whether Cloud of Faeries is something we want in the format moving forward.
It was definitely strikingly successful, but never quite popular enough for people to slant their decks to beat it. It's a weird situation, since so many people hate playing the deck, it never really got picked up despite all the strong showings. (Also, it's been much less successful since the U/R control deck got popular this month; on the other other hand, the UR deck is probably on its way out after a bad showing last weekend).
(Although it could die with a sunken boat. I'm realising UR Delver really doesn't have a thread here.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.

Good idea. You could also maybe promote the esper familiar thread from Developing. The other notable missing deck in the Established section is Hexproof.
