So with the Blossoming Sands cycle being printed at common, WotC has given multicolored pauper mages a slight bump. While they're clearly inferior to the lands available in other constructed formats, they're still a dramatic upgrade over guildgates. Gaining just two or three life over the early turns will often make the difference between a win and a loss against burn, and will more rarely make the difference in other matchups.
Personally, these lands have renewed my interested in experimenting with two and three color control and midrange builds. Thoughts?

Looks like the pauper forum is dead to me lol, there should have been a lot of discussions about this.
The problem right now is that Treasure Cruise gets benefits from Panoramas, Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse, so we don't get to see as many lands of that cycle as we would without TC (like UR Kiln Fiend now playing those slow fetch lands for more consistancy late game with TC).
Personally, I love these new additions. It looks like WotC is giving pauper a little bit more power (although I don't think they specifically do this for the pauper format). Good news for the pauper player anyway, it's a really sweet additions for multicolored decks in pauper although Panoramas tend to fix a little bit better depending on what you are playing. Also, the 1 life gain is really important too. Radiant Fountain is an excellent addition for mono-colored deck, I play 1 in my mono-white deck (I don't play more than 1 because I never want to mulligan hands with 2 lands and that could be the case with 2 RD).
My own rules when building a Commander deck:
1) Underrated general that I can build around but the deck must work without him/her too.
2) Every card must be legal in both banlists.
3) No infinite combo that could win (and ruin) instantly a multiplayer game.
4) Synergy at all costs; stay on theme, avoid goodstuff.
