Was curious about whether you QP grinders out there run multiple accounts to maximize the monthly MOCS promo cards. I'm not exactly sure how it works but I think you can only get one promo once you reach 15QPs (in other words, you don't get 2 if you hit 30). Please correct me if I'm wrong. Despite the fact that I *think* you can bypass the preliminaries (which have been postponed indefinitely anyway) if you do reach 30 QPs, I was wondering if its a "thing" to grind out 15QPs on one account and then switch over to a second account to grind out another 15 for another promo. Or if this is even against the user-agreement.
Apologize in advance if I misunderstand any of the rules - I'm pretty new to the MOCS in general. I've been finding myself with 15QPs about half way through the seasons this year, and frankly, if I'm going to make it a point to work up to 30 qps, a second promo seems more enticing to me right now than bypassing preliminaries.
Thanks all.

I do this. Disclaimer: IDK if it's against the COC, but I don't see why it would be. I am foregoing the benefits of multiple points (i.e. skipping the preliminaries, competing for PoTY, etc.) for multiple promos. Unfortunately, you're unlikely to get a straight answer on something like this from Wizards.
There is nothing against the CoC as far as I'm aware. Consider that some people have dozens of accounts (bot chain owners) who get many sets of the freebies given out for various issues with the program.
The real cost is what spairy said - you miss out on the benefits from using one account. An interesting note: if you think you are capable enough, playing in the pre-lims actually gives the highest benefit. If you go 5-1 or 6-0 you get an extra promo and 35 QPs. You can use those to play in more pre-lims and earn more promos. Using a second account makes that particular proposition more difficult. So you can, in theory, earn 8 promos on one account (the first one, all 6 pre-lims, top 64 of the finals).
One thing I forgot to note: it is against the ToS/EULA/CoC (one of them) to have two accounts piloted by the same person in the same event. You can get banned for that if caught.
