Boros Tokens seems to be the go-to list that is doing well lately in the leagues thanks to Rally the Peasants. Here's the list that I'm running right now:
A bit sad that Sweatworks Brawler is the only Improvise card in our colors, because with the Servo token, the pistons and the Clues it would be pretty easy to play Improvise cards with a 1-2 discount in CMC without losing tempo or resources.

I have been playing against this a lot with U Delver (finally went over to MTGO). Really, really rough matchup which feels quite weird, since I side in half of my anti-affinity cards but sea's claim is worthless against it.

Hey! What do y'all think about a grixis variant of the deck? It gains access to dream stalker which I usually feel is all we need for artifact bounce as well as cavern harpy which interacts nicely with bleak coven vampires. Thoughts?
I know grixis metalcraft is a thing, but I don't think it uses dream stalker and harpy. I play mardu and honestly I very rarely find myself bouncing vampires directly except very occasionally for lethal.
In fact if you are only really bouncing vamps and muldrifters you might as well just be running one more copy of each of those because you'd much rather drop a new one than bounce an old one.
I don't know enough about blue to give you advice about that, but something I do know about is terminate. Kills anglers, kills tron fatties, kills atogs. I think it's one of the most powerful payoffs for being in red and black. And speaking of anglers being hard for most decks to kill, a one of angler can go a long way I've found.
I've been trying Boros Kitty and Jeskai Kitty as well. So far, the Boros version is much more consistent because of mana stability and the raw power of Rally the Peasants. Still, Jeskai has a much better late game with Gearseeker Serpent and Mulldrifter, so it's pretty much playstyle preference between the two.
This thread seems pretty dead by now but just in case here's an update.
The deck has evolved into two versions, Boros Tokens and Boros Monarch. I'm too lazy to find decklists right now but here's a quick summary: Boros Tokens
That's pretty apt. I'm mainly logging in to say that if someone wants to make a new primer thread, they should, I'm done maintaining this one.

Oh, you think the losers' bracket is your ally, but you merely adopted the scrub tier. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn’t 4-0 an FNM until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but an extra pack to sell for store credit!
I tried playing the newer Boros shell with Palace Sentinels but the deck lacks a clock (or other ability to close games) and loses hard to Gurmag Angler. I'm thinking about reducing the red to just Bolt and Galv Blast (cutting Kuldotha Rebirth plan entirely), and committing to Gearseeker Serpent as the primary wincon. Thoughts?

As expected, Countless Gears Renegade is super solid and overperforms a lot. It's token adds to Metalcraft, and it's pretty easy to enable Revolt thanks to self-sacrificing Clues, Glint Hawk, Kor Skyfisher, Boros Garrison and Kuldotha Rebirth on top of removal from the opponent. I cut the two Firebolt and two Journey to Nowhere from the standard stock lists to make room for them, but now I'm looking at cutting something else for 2-3 Journey to Nowhere to take care of big scary monsters such as Fangren Marauder, Gurmag Angler and Gearseeker Serpent.
A bit sad that Sweatworks Brawler is the only Improvise card in our colors, because with the Servo token, the pistons and the Clues it would be pretty easy to play Improvise cards with a 1-2 discount in CMC without losing tempo or resources.

I got tons of copies of CGR at prerelease so yeah. Xmage and Cockatrice also have had the AER patch for testing up for a few days now.
