What I meant with my remark is, that nobody is against 'world peace', unless maybe some satanists or terrorists. The fight starts about HOW to achieve it, and in the end, what is the definition of 'world peace'!? Just the absence of wars, or the absence of reasons for war, too? Is it possible at all, when 99% of the world population owns 1% of the world's properties, and 1% of the population owns 99% of the properties!?
We define what is world peace through voting, it's simple really.
So let's see which cards receive the most love and hate on the day that we vote.
To the smiling old lady in the picture of the card Enlightened Tutor, I say to you: "Soon the smile will be wiped off your face when the community kicks you out of our format! Enjoy your smile whilst it lasts!".
Welcome to the new players who joined us this week.
I liked Sugar Daddy's deck. A very interesting design which we have never seen before.
I am starting to think that the Golden Age of Chainsaw Massacre is about to arrive (in the summer), because we have a great variety of decks and players at present, and things will only improve as summer approaches.

Merci Michelle !
After a professional development, i'm happy to have more time to devote myself to magic. I studied the previous victorious decks to develop this one. Although I have not been victorious i'm glad to have discovered this tournament. I would remember this epic game that we had, dear Michelle.
After the spontaneous first try, and the resulting CMCE award, I elaborated the idea, and we will search now for the CMCM, the Chainsaw Massacre Cultural Master. We will start at the 1st of September, then every day new questions will be asked here in forum.
Last time it was 'all or nothing', you knew the answer or not. Now I will ask several questions, and you will get points for each, and I will ask more difficult questions, but I will give hints after a few days, that increasingly narrow the answering possibilities and/or reveal facts about the persons searched for. I don't expect that anybody will know all answers in the 1st round, but I guess that at least some will answer correctly some questions immediately, even without hints. So, don't be demoralized if you can not answer the first 2 questions(without hints), the 3rd may be right up your alley, while the others must muse. You can answer once per round and question( so maximum 3 answers per question at the end).
All answers should be sent to: ml_berlin@yahoo.com.
Everybody who knows the answer in first round gets 4 points, after the first hint 2 points, after the 2nd one 1 point. Every day I will ask at least one question, after 2 days, I will give the 1st hint, after another 2 days, the 2nd one. There will be a few special questions without hints or only one, their points will be announced with the questions. The person who has the most points in the end will win the CMCM award.
I have chosen this modus, because it allows all those who are eager to solve the next question, to play every day, while those who have less time, may only check every 3 days, and still will be able to answer in 1st round for the full points. I'm so excited, and I can't hide it! I hope you will enjoy!
Soon we will be able to use the card "Eldritch Evolution". I look forward to that day. I am happy that Wizards of the Coast are giving green players more and more weapons to add to our chainsaw massacre arsenal.
To my future opponents I say to you: "You WILL be wrecked by that card. It is only a matter of time before I use it to fetch my Kor Firewalker or Kitchen Finks or Restoration Angel or Thragtusk or Sigarda or Primeval Titan, or any other creature from my toolbox". And I am very happy that you cannot use a Bolt or Swords to Plowshares on the creature which I sacrifice.
This format seems interesting. How does it compare to something like dual commander? Been looking on get into another format after my years hiatus from mtgo and realizing that there is no more commander tourneys online

Now there's a name I haven't seen in quite some time.
We are active, radio-active, once contaminated with S100, you won't be able to play commander again:-)
Commander is ALWAYS the 1 card +99 others. S100 is random 7 cards out of 100. So the match and his outcome is definitely less predictable at start. Sideboard is important, too. If you want to basically use a commander deck you should make a new copy and modify it. Check each card again and make sure its not trash without the Commander.
Later with some experience, I think, you will rather create a new one from scrap, but for a start that's ok.
Hint: You can click on META in gatherling, and will be able to see decks from the past events!
-20 life means that aggro and burn decks are viable strategies
-There are decks, that use no critters at all
-Cards with ETB effects are good, a Reclamation Sage or Trinket Mage for example
Additional information about the competition for the CMCM award, the Chainsaw Massacre Cultural Master (part I is post #278):
Questions will be released each evening(Europe), respectively afternoon EDT, usually a few hours before the hints, at latest at time of the event= 4 pm EDT. Even more important is the time of the hints, which will definitely won't be released before 4 pm EDT. 4 pm EDT is the deadline for all answers of the certain round. We will start with an extra day of answering time, so that people who play at the event on Saturday, and didn't hear about the competition before, may be able to join without a loss of points.
So, the first hints( for the questions from Thursday, the 1st of September) will be released Sunday 4pm EDT, all correct answers before this time are worth full points. This will be also the deadline for the Friday questions( the regular 2 days).
People who are busy and don't want to check every day should mark 2 days in the calendar: Sunday and Tuesday. If you read the forum Sunday before 4 pm, you could answer the questions from Thursday, Friday, Saturday. On Tuesday, you can answer Sunday and Monday questions. However, I think it is no bad idea, to check earlier, so you have no pressure to answer immediately, just because the deadline is in 30min...
You may CHANGE an answer sent to me, until next hint is released, but there is only ONE 'active' answer per round.
This will prevent the shotgun approach= wild guessing & trial and error.
Nonetheless, if you are not sure about the correct answer before a deadline, it is always better to send a wild guess, than no answer at all for the round! You have nothing to lose.
After the first hint will be released you can get a maximum of 2 points, no matter if you had a false answer for this question before or none at all. You cannot 'save' an answer attempt for next round. You could give up to 3 different answers for the same question in the 3 rounds.
There will be no pillory, no public ass-kicking or malice about false answers, just try your best. I will not publish your points or participation at all, if you don't want to!
You will get 4, 2 or 1 points for a question( and not 7, if you answer 3 times correctly:-)
1st round= Question is released(answer is worth 4 points), 2 days later, the 1st hint is released= 2nd round started ( answer for 2 points), another 2 days later, the 2nd hint is released= 3rd round started (1 point).
Tip: While some questions may seem difficult at first glance, just because they may not be in your major field of interest, the hints will help you. Some other questions may be easy for you, I have questions from diverse areas. I tried to have some universal questions, but some are from my personal cultural experience, also.
So, I would be really surprised if somebody reaches full points with all answers. However, after the 2nd hint, basically all questions could be answered.
I'm planning to release 2 questions per day, for 6 or 7 days. Who has the most points in the end will win 3 tix, runner-up 1 tix.
This will be open for all readers of this forum, participation in the event is not necessary.
I will announce deadlines a day ahead as reminder, also. Some wanted to know all details in advance, so here they are.
Have fun!
Here he comes to save the day And he will prove that crime will never pay
I thought long about if I should answer. Well at least 5 min, but I couldn't resist.
I think, you did not only answer your own question by yourself, but also gave a free bonus hint for everyone.
Don't get me wrong! I would really love to discuss my questions with you now, and the hints! I was thinking about them and creating them for the last 3 weeks...
But obviously that is not the best idea, if you want to win
My tip: You still have plenty of time, 'go pregnant' with the questions, as we say in German. If it's unclear at start read them over and over again, maybe tomorrow. I'm sure you will recognize something. You obviously asked yourself already (some of) the right questions.
So let's see which cards receive the most love and hate on the day that we vote.
