Hi,
I'm running MTGO on virtual box in windows 10. Everytime I close VB without quitting magic the next time I start up I'll get the Magic online screen for a second and then... nothing. It will continue to do this until I do a clean reinstall. Any ideas?
So I'm having this issue with the client where the store page wont load anything. Its just blank.
And yes I have reimnstalled MTGO and done what the support chat has told me to do. It hasnt worked. This just started today and It was fine yesterday. Any ideas what might have happened.
My sideboard will only work half the time. I'll trade out cards between matches and when the next match starts the cards I boarded in didn't work, why is this? Am I doing something wrong or is it just not accepting my submission?
Hi, im having a problem installing the client, i keep receiving "application validation did not succeed. unable to continue" can someone help?
I am getting the same error. Already tried to delete 2.0 folder, reset winsock, uninstall. I even tried to install in a PC which didn't had a previous installation of MTGO and the error persists. This is something related between my internet connection and wizards of the coast. I tried a tracert to the servers and everything is ok.
Any clues on how i can install mtgo again?
EDIT: Solution found
I tried to update visual studio yesterday and had a similar error.
I uninstalled Visual Studio and realized i had .NET framework 4.5 and 4.6 installed together.
So i did:
1 - uninstalled all .NET Framework i had
2 - Reboot
3 - Deleted everything in %temp% folder (windows+r type %temp% press enter)
4 - installed the latest .NET Framework 4.6.1
5 - Reboot (again)
6 - install MTGO again without problems.
A few things before I dive into the rather basic problem. I'm deployed to the Middle East, every base I've been at has acceptable internet, the one I'm at now is even good enough to play online FPS games in my downtime (ie counterstrike). I moved to a new base yesterday, which coincidentally was on a day where a new update was pushed out. The problem I'm having is the client appears to have updated as the background for the login screen mentions the new cube, but when I go to login it tells me the client is not up to date and to restart. When I do so it doesn't update and just brings me back to the log in screen. I've followed all the troubleshooting tips up to and including a clean reinstall. Any advice? Both steam and origin work just fine when downloading new games. I'm thinking its the wifi here, but I've no way of figuring that out myself. Firewall has been disabled during all portions of this as well. Thanks.
I have been driving myself crazy every other night or so for the last week trying to get this game to ******* WORK on my computer. It won't. There are about 4 different pages on how to fix connection issues, and I have done it all (I use Avast Free, so it's a hassle and a half). Cleared caches, uninstalled, cleared caches again, reinstalled, uninstalled, restarted, changed antiviruses, opened ports, disabled antivirus altogether, redownloaded, reinstalled, uninstalled, cleared caches, uninstalled, reset router, reinstalled... Always, always "Disconnected" and "Please check to make sure you're connected to the internet." Holy ****, this is one game that does NOT want to be played. I played it just fine not 6 months ago on the same computer with the same antivirus. I'm getting the client from WotC's MTGO website, so it's not like I'm using the wrong version of it. Does anyone know what to do to fix that ******* "Disconnected" status?
An icon appears in my taskbar. If I hover over the icon it will show me a window as if the game is open and doing stuff, but there's no window anywhere on my screen. When I close it gives the normal "Are you sure" pop-up.
