I know there's no word on PC being available on MTGO but with the newly released cards in the latest version does anyone see it coming up? At the very least these cards being future MOPR releases?
I think I've heard somewhere that the new client is supposed to have planechase, but I haven't heard any word of it for the current client. I could be wrong though.
(What the hell did you RL MTG players do to Portal? Did you hate it so much that you had deck burning bonfires to get rid of the cards, thus increasing the rarity and prices? Did people mail back their fat packs to WotC in droves, demanding refunds?)
I wonder if we'll be able to buy the planes separately on the secondary market. I hope so.
Either way, I'm curious to see the logistics of planechase online. I suppose each player has to bring his or her own planar deck?
It's VERY likely that bots will buy/sell the planar cards, but I expect it to be pretty high on value for a while...
About the gameplay, based on what I played on beta, it's pretty simple: each player brings a normal deck and a planes deck with 10 cards. The rest is the same to the normal PC rules.
