I had a better time with this pool and can't say its the best I could have done. I do got to say the deck was a bit slow if I couldn't either get lands or low casting creatures opening hand. Did I make the right choices with deck or could I have done better? I did make a second deck too just for the fun of it seeing if maybe I could have made this one work with the colors I had left over. Could the Experimental deck work out with just the colors I had left over?
My choice would be to go B/G with a splash of red for The Scorpion God and even more removal. Honestly, those three colors are loaded in that regard. Pair it with a lot of cheap creatures, top it off with the God and you should have yourself a near unstoppable Juggernaut of a deck. I think. Let's build it and see.
Doesn't look too shabby. And with the curve ending at 5 mana, 16 lands should suffice. I added the two Deserts only because there is a bit of Desert synergy with the Camel and Naga. Ramunap Ruinscould be activated for its last ability, but that's very unlikely. It's in there because it's a Desert and a source of red mana. I left out Open Fire because it's in the splash color, but I could see it make the deck as yet another removal and some reach by replacing a creature. But I think, it's removal overload as is already, you even got a mini sweeper. No fear of gods either with two removals capable of handling them in the main. Plus, the mana curve of the creatures is a dream come true, though the 2-drops are a bit lackluster. Trade them if possible, and keep your removal for the bigger stuff.
I agree that green was extremely strong for you with three removal type spells right away.
I would have also played Rhonas's Monument regardless of going green but especially with the more creatures.
Not a fan of Rags//Riches with this deck. Sweeping the board with you have a number smaller creatures feels like more of a loss than gain.
Well, I guess, one could also just not splash red, drop the God and Deem Worthy and just add the Monument (which I somehow totally forgot about) and the Pitiless Vizier in their stead. If removing the Rags, I would replace it with Wander in Death to get some of those dead early creatures back to keep up the pressure. But I do love sweepers in Limited, they usually are well worth it.
