This is what I opened and built for a MTGO PPTQ today. I'll update with rounds later. Just curious if I built it the best of if there was something better I could have done.
Round 1 vs GWb
Game 1 - I win the roll for first and keep a sketchy 5 land hand. It works out and I win decisively.
Games 2+3 - The deck just doesnt like me and I either cant hit lands on curve or top deck them when they arent needed.
I lose 1-2
Round 2 vs GWb
Games 1+2 - I just cant get there fast enough before he stabilizes. is 17 lands too many? I keep seeming to flood at just the wrong time.
I lose 0-2
Round 3 vs BR Vamps
Game 1 - He just out aggros me
Game 2 - I aggro and he gets stuck on 3 lands.
Game 3 - We both aggro pretty well then I mess up and skip an attack that would have been lethal and allow him the win
I lose 1-2
Round 4 vs RG ramp
Game 1 - I aggro quickly and win
Game 2 - He resolves Emrakul twice, stablizes at 2 life and never swings again with her, punting the game and match.
I win 2-0
Round 5 vs GW
Game 1 - I mull to 5 and keep a 3 land (all B) hand. I end up stuck for a couple turns colored screwed then flood out.
Game 2 - He aggros faster than I can
I lose 0-2
-1 Vampire Cutthroat - The synergies are cute with Odric, Condemned, and Lone Rider, but when this is bad, it's abysmal.
-1 Guardian of Pilgrims - Doesn't really have any synergies with the deck so you're playing it for filler, but your 2 drop slot is so contested that you don't need filler there.
-1 Long Road Home - Seems too low impact to do anything meaningful.
I don't think you want to be on the hyper aggro play with this deck as you're playing a lot of cards that are abysmal in an aggro deck (the 3 drops in particular). I would try to go the route of playing a more midrange game focused on making strong value plays and try to get delerium active, which the disposal and waltz helps with being the second and third sorcery for your deck.
I'm also tempted to fit the creeper in your deck as another delerium enabler since it's really hard for BW to get it online and you have 4 cards that would really benefit from it, but that might be going a little too hard on that plan.
