This pool was a difficult one for me, because all of the colors either have almost no removal or not enough playables. The deck I built ended up getting crushed 0-2 in the first round. I’m thinking either a Black-Green base or Black-Blue base was the ideal way to go, but I’m open to suggestions. Any ideas on the ideal build and the reasoning behind it would be really appreciated.
I reckon that GW looks pretty decent here. Always watching is likely your best card here, and these colours let you play a lot of solid creatures, as well as some other potentially powerful things like veteran cathar and the blob. Pulling delirium seems like it could be hard, but you definitely have the tools to pull it off from time to time, and your stuff is plenty playable without it anyway.
The pool is pretty bad overall though, no huge pulls into any colour.
Thanks for the suggestions. Can you show me how you would create the decklists? My only concern is that I might not have enough creatures to play b/r and g/w.
Yeah, looking back, I think GW should have been the way to go. It would have been hard on creature count, but I can get access to tons of removal that way.
