You're definitely a lot more aggressive than me. The question is, can you reliably curve out with al your 1-2 drops when you are running 7 tap-lands? Also, while it's great to have them, cheap cards by definition are not as strong, so unless you burst the opponent down in a hurry, you will probably struggle to finish them.
I was a little concerned about the large amount of 1 drops I was running, I think I was hoping I'd be able to get there with the two Mardu xpells. I had cut chief of the edge before because I had very few warriors. I like that your curve doesn't stop at 4 to give me a chance to recover if I dout win at the start. Thank you again for your input, Im learning a lot! I think k my problem is I get fixated on an idea and try to force it.
I would go red/blue touching on white for the three multicolor cards, Suspension Field, and Alabaster Kirin. I like the evasion plan of blue more than the warrior plan of black.
I'm afraid of jamming both because I don't want to slow down with too many tap lands. The late game for this pool is so weak compared to a decent control-enabling pool that I want to kill as quickly as possible and avoid the Treasure Cruise phase of the game.
I'm surprised nobody had Swarm of Bloodflies in any of the 3 decks. You have enough cheap creatures that are going to be trading so you can build it up into a huge evasive threat or get damage in because they don't want it to grow.
THe thing is, Swarm of Bloodflies only really becomes worth it once you have a couple of creatures die after you play it. Before that point it's really overcosted.
IN addition, 5-drops have a very high threshold to cross since (as my list in this thread shows) you can happily have a list of cards that don't run *any* 5-drops, and gets big moprhs as those high end value cards. That's much more curve friendly.
