I think I'll probably take out a 2nd treasure cruise for something like Bring Low. Am I missing anything in black? I think Red & blue seem to be the strongest colors at a glance
I think that you have the right colours, although I would try to make it base UG and reduce the WR to more of a splash. So with that in mind I would make the following tweaks:

Would you really play See the Unwritten? It seems like most of the time I'm paying 6 mana for a creature that isn't worth 6 mana, and in the best case scenario, am paying 6 mana for 2 creatures that might be worth 7 mana together max.
Well, it's a bit of a tossup. And whenever I'm unsure about a card that is rare/mythic, I am biased towards playing it in order to get a feel for how good it actually is. If it's actually decent, but you never see it much you're never going to play it and find it out.
You're right that the basic version of the card is bad. So whether it is god comes down to whether you can have a 4-power guy in play when you cast it (which effectively gives you about 2 mana and draws you a card, if you assume that most of your deck will be 4-drops on average). You have 5 4-power guys, so that's the question. Will you be able to cast this with one of them in play?
I like your iteration better than magicmerl's. Warname Aspirant is a possible cut at first glance. Red 2 drop can be difficult with 6 red sources and all these other things that you'd rather play with red in them.
Base blue -- think about adding in Scion of Glaciers or Crippling Chill instead

Alpine Grizzly is fine too
