I stopped playing Limited on MTGO after the switch to the beta, so no more draftcaps for me (too lazy to record Limited events IRL). But I thought it would be useful, as an exercise, just to do some pool evaluations from a simulator. This one jumped out as "awkward" and I decided to post it.
So white's a weird one. On the one hand, double Spectra Ward. On the other, there's marginal support for a convoke deck, no 2 drops, and lack of support for an Auras plan beyond jamming Spectra Wards on things. Is this the one time you don't play double Spectra Ward?
RB looks decent, some removal and smoother curve, deeper options, but a little short on raw power. Or UBr (splashing for Lightning Strike and Nightfire's ability), since blue seems to be where all the good 2 drops are at.

What would you build?
Deck 1:
WRb Spectra Forced
2 Forge Devil
1 Selfless Cathar
1 Raise the Alarm
1 Ajani's Pridemate
2 Goblin Roughrider
1 Midnight Guard
1 Goblin Rabblemaster
1 Warden of Beyond
1 Razorfoot Griffin
1 Gravedigger
1 Nightfire Giant
1 Will-Forged Golem
1 Triplicate Spirits
1 Seraph of the Masses
1 Siege Dragon
1 Lightning Strike
1 Divine Favor
1 Devouring Light
1 Sanctified Charge
2 Spectra Ward
//Lands: 17
6 Mountain
8 Plains
3 Swamp
Krenko's Enforcer excluded so manabase is less red-dependent and to enable black splash. Black splash may be excluded.
The problem with playing these colors is you really have no 2 drops. So I wonder if UB is the way to go, just ignoring Spectra Bomb.
Deck 2
1 Cruel Sadist
1 Typhoid Rats
2 Jorubai Murk Lurker
2 Welkin Tern
1 Child of Night
1 Frost Lynx
1 Coral Barrier
1 Wall of Frost
1 Amphin Pathmage
1 Zof Shade
1 Gravedigger
1 Shadowcloak Vampire
1 Nightfire Giant
1 Nimbus of the Isles
1 Will-Forged Golem
1 Glacial Crasher
1 Lightning Strike
1 Peel From Reality
1 Stab Wound
1 Divination
1 Convenant of Blood
//Lands:
7 Island
7 Swamp
3 Mountain
Much smoother curve.
What would you do? Would you play something different altogether? Force the Spectra Wards?
