In any event running 2 ten drops is pretty much definitely the wrong thing to do. However, uly-cooly is quite a bit better than kozilek as a finisher, I'm half wanting to take him as a replacement (also wanting to take him just for awesomeness factor, would 100% run both on mtgo just for that alone). What do you guys think? Should we play it safe and just take rush?
Alright, so let's do a quick count of what our deck looks like:
Creatures: (i'm only counting the playables):
1-2 drops: 4
3-drops: 2 (I'm not counting the crabs here, as we can do better)
4-drops: 2
5-drops: 5
Total number creatures that we are definitely playing: 12
Playable spells: 6
Running two ten drops is a definite no-no, and we could really use some more 3 and 4 drops. I think we should go and pick Silent Skimmer to fill out the curve, as I am not so sure that we can get a lot playable creatures to fill out the 3 and 4 drop slots in our curve, as much as passing Ulamog really hurts.
Ya I'm with Sene, its just too awesome to ignore. The Terrifying Titan Twosome is something I've always dreamed of achieving, Ulamog
Honestly, I'm very fine running run crab in this deck btw. We're definitely looking to be a skies deck in the mid game, and ramp as it goes longer, so something to just stalls out the board seems exactly what we want.

Surely we have to do it. It's way too cool not to. Probably not the right choice to put multiple tens in your deck, but heck with it. Ulamog.
Congrats scott on opening both the titans
