For me it's either Reap What is Sown or Fall of the Hammer. I think both of those are very good cards. I suppose there's an argument for Archetype or Infatuation too!
I agree with that. I'd lean Reap What is Sown, but that's partly just because I haven't gotten to play with it and it seems quite good. Either way we're going into 1 new color (though of course if we take the hammer we could easily end up Rx).
Neither Infatuation or the black archetype seem good enough here. Given that Infatuation can only copy your own creatures I'm not even convinced its very good.
I slightly prefer Hammer because I really like Red in this format (I know that isn't the popular opinion) and I think Fall is its strongest common. But I would be alright with either! I have played with Reap and blown opponents out for sure.

Who doesn't like red in BTT? Wasn't great in Theros but the BNG pack makes it quite a bit better (in no small part because of Fall of the Hammer). RW has probably supplanted BU as the strongest archetype (assuming you can get the cards for it), so the hammer is definitely a consideration.
I do feel like green is underdrafted in BTT in general and it is still quite good - more aggressive than it was in triple theros, but if we're going to pair it with white that's OK anyway.
Sounds like we're both on the fence but leading opposite ways. We need the third member of our triumverate to give us a push I think...
Cynthaer's also a part of our group but has been MIA.
I agree that those are the most powerful cards in the pack.
I am going to vote Fall of the Hammer as the more consistently performing pick, both deck and draft-wise. If any of the other red cards makes it back to us I think we'll be happy, as well. You can't say the same about green.
Additional information: assuming alphabetical order = passing left, Team H has picked an unknown uncommon (you guys are free to speculate on what this could be).
I also think this thread may be helpful as our pack 1 continues. If team B would utilize that resource, they would know we picked Fall of the Hammer, as there are 6 commons in a row from run A before it, so the last 4 commons must be linked in run B. which would be great signal-wise.
I'll go ahead and go with Fall of the Hammer as well then.
We can definitely keep the print runs in mind - are we sure that these packs follow them though, or are they entirely randomly generated? It's hard to derive too much speculation since their pick could've been anything, but it could be something like an eidolon I suppose!
I recall a mod or someone mentioning they use real pack data. The two packs we have been given so far definitely do. I also took a look at the forum draft and most of the earlier packs follow the print run, although some of the later packs seemed impossible for me to make so I don't know what's up with that.
How you should approach every game of Magic.
