Three pickable cards in the Lace with Moonglove, Kinsbaile Skirmisher, and Elvish Branchbender. I don't see the lace in the league with the other two (with how our deck is structured) but I'm not sure between the other two.
Some of you may have been in shock since we invaded Canada and Mexico, but fear not, it was for a good cause. Now that we conrol North America, we produce an extra 5 armies a turn.^_^
Elves are actually our third-largest tribe here (with all the Changeling glue), behind Kithkin and Treefolk, so the Branchbender's ability is somewhat dead. And the Skirmisher will not see play alongside our very large pool of two drops (I know it isn't necessarily a two-drop, but its ability as a three-drop or four-drop is seriously weak).
Now, to be honest, the Lace cantrips. And though it probably wouldn't get maindecked, it does provide a nice answer to Fistful of Force (have we seen one of those?) and other combat trickery.
Part of me wants to hate one of the Merfolk, since we're probably not going to use any of our cards, but a late Deeptread could be of use to a U player.
We already have a Lace with Moonglove, and I don't think we will be playing two. Currently we have 8 elves (including the questionable Gilt-Leaf Seer.) Either the Skirmisher or the Branchbender is probably the pick.
Branchbender would probably be played over Skirmisher. Lace is fine, but we've already got one, and it clogs up the three spot something fierce(ly bad).
Against certain decks, bringing two lace out of the SB would be absolutely fantastic. We wont MD or SB the other two options at this point, so the SB choice is what I went for here.
I'm going with the Lace here too, don't see the branchbender making play as I see only 6 elves we're likely to play and as said the skirmisher won't make the 2-drop slot.
While the lace prolly won't get maindecked, it has a higher chance of getting sideboarded in for games 2 and 3 against certain decks.
