Personally, I would, because indestructible and 50/50 deathtouch is insufferable, no matter how you look at it. The only things Creepy Doll has to worry about, generally speaking, are Avacynian Priest, Dead Weight, and trample.

Well...and being irrelevant against a deck with a lot of evasion. That's probably the biggest worry since it doesn't beat down at all. It's an excellent wall.
I'd play it in a control deck but not in aggro. If I had a midrange "good stuff" kind of deck it would probably make the cut.
Well yeah, I was getting at evasion via trample, but you got the point. A number of creatures are invalidated by evasion, anyway, so that's all but unspoken.
I was playing a draft the second week up avacyn being out and i was constructing my deck when the guy across from me spilled his cherry kool-aid all over mine and his cards, he had a griselbrand and I had a cavern of souls.
Yeah. It's always playable unless you have an insane pool. I played it at the PreRelease and I wasn't impressed, but it is still decent enough to play.
It's pretty bad. I guess it's really annoying to deal with, but a 5 drop defender that only kills creatures half the time is pretty miserable, even with indestructible. I'd play it in a control deck if I needed some ground defense but I'd rather have a fortress crab most of the time.
I don't like this card. It just seems too expensive. The above poster is right that it's almost always an expensive wall that only kills the attacking creature 50% of the time. It will almost never beatdown without equipment, but there are so many better cards in this set to use equipment and so many better 4 or 5 drops that actively threaten your opponent the moment they hit the board.
In sealed I've opened this card twice, and I've drafted it once. I don't believe my opponents were ever once forced to attack into it. I wasn't ever able to use it to beat down because I needed to save it to block. It didn't stop stalls because by the time I have 5 mana my opponents were casting their big flying bombs or trample. There's actually a ton of removal that answers it in the set.
It isn't something I'd never play, but I'd be much more comfortable putting it in a deck if it cost 3 or 4. It definitely is not an auto-include in every deck. I once played in it the same sealed deck as the 5cc invulnerable Gargoyle and THAT did everything Creepy Doll ever did for me plus it could go airborne and deliver solid hits when I needed them- and it doesn't need to win a coinflip to kill a 2/2.
Like everyone else is saying its basically a wall for 5 with a 50/50 chance to kill something. Might stop your opponent attacking with ground guys but they can beat in with flyers or just alpha strike.
So I've seen a bunch of people's early evaluations of M13 limited, and the apparent consensus is that blue is the set's worst colors. I have only played three events, mind you, but I consider myself a bit of a core set limited guru, and while I think it's a bit early to say that blue is the set's best color, I think it's significant;y more in the conversation than people are giving it credit for.
As I've posted elsewhere, Archaeomancer is my pick for the set's best common.
It gums up the ground, and it does it well. 5 mana is completely reasonable for a creature that is as effective at its job as this is. Just don't play it in decks that don't care about gumming up the ground, and don't play it if you have more important flaws in your deck, like a lack of ways to deal with the air.
Wit's End is the PERFECT answer to your opponent's Monomania however.
Just hold on to your Wit's End when they Monomania, so you can Wit's End them on your next turn!!!
I think this is fairly reminiscent of the "Jace Battles" we have seen in past standards.. My guess is we will soon witness the great Monomania-Wit's End battles.
I wouldn't say "regardless", but I would say often.
I suppose if I had a highly aggressive deck without equipment I might leave it out. Creepy Doll + Demonmail Hauberk or Butcher's Cleaver is just so devastating, though.
I played this card at the prerelease, in part because I wasn't sure how good it was and I wanted to try it out.
I don't think that I ever cast it when there was anything else in my hand that I could cast, so I think it's safe to say it was the worst card in my deck.
I'd rate it as borderline playable (or perhaps a niche card), but I do not think it is very good. It costs 5 mana and doesn't really help you win the game in most cases.
I would never play it, regardless of what I get. Do not play 5-mana walls, people.
I agree. I consider it around a 9-12th pick, only playable if your deck is not that good. I believe in INN, you want to have quick aggro, control/bombs, or fliers as a good deck and this guy fits into none of these.

Premodern - Trix, RecSur, Enchantress, Reanimator, Elves https://www.facebook.com/groups/PremodernUSA/ Modern - Neobrand, Hogaak Vine, Elves
Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)

Commander - Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build) (dead format for me)
Every time I have played against it, it has not helped my opponent. I played it once in draft, because I ran out of playable cards, and it did me no good. I don't like it, it's too slow and does too little.

It's pretty solid at gumming up the ground.

One thing to note is that Creepy Doll does not have Defender. So you could conceivably toss a Demonmail or something on it and force them to block.
