I had five of the damn things in a draft yesterday. I ran them all, and boarded a couple out if necessary. Is there really a limit on their usefulness in this format? As I started at the fifth (and promptly picked it), I wondered at what point you could have too much of this awesome card.
Pretty hard to have too many. They're artifacts, removal on a stick (and actually a pretty good body to have considering very little has 3 power in this format), etc. Unless you're playing Infect, in which case I'd probably say that 5 is too many because you'll be picking them over good infect creatures.

Pretty much sums it up right there. Replica is just too damn good in this format. Removal on an artifact stick is always welcome.
As many as you can take. You'll only open more than 5 in 3% of drafts, and you'll only beat 6 in 1%, and other people are probably going to take them.
As 5 is just fine, take it and run.
P.S. Card opening odds are their own little discussion. On average you'll get 2.23 but on average you'll open less of each common than average, so... yeah.
If this forum had Greasers, Phoenix, Commons and Semantics would be the leaders of the gang and every time they commented on something they would do a synchronized finger snap then smoke a cigarette.
It depends on what your other cards are, of course.
But the answer is definitely a higher number than you'll ever see in Limited.

Pretty much the only reason I wouldn't run this many is possibly curve issues, but it's not like you'll see this many anyway.
Run all of them you can get your hands on.
I can't imagine what the curve issues would be. It blocks two-drops, so it's not like you're going to fall way behind. I don't worry about curve until things start costing 4 or more. If you don't get to 3 mana, you lose no matter what, regardless of how you built your deck.
Seriously I don't think curve is an issue either, since Sylvok Replica can very easily block 1 and 2 drops, and blow up 3+ drops, you practically always come out ahead (well, unless you are facing down some Molder Beasts).
So I would definitely play as many as you can get your hands on.

Well, I just said possibly, because maybe you wouldn't want a deck with twelve 3 drops. Not saying that you can't get up to 3 mana, but rather you would rather go into 4 and 5 drops rather than just playing a 3 drop or two every turn, no matter how good it is.
Again, this is all just in theory and you probably would play this many Sylvok Replicas because of the obvious usefulness. Just saying.
Removal generally has diminshing returns of a very limited sort (after a while it becomes better to play something that can help you win rather than kill his 5th best card, as the 4 pieces of removal that killed his 1-4th best probably did the job) but 11 is such an insane number (your odds are 10*-6th-ish as I recall) that it's quite negligible. Poisson or no Poisson, that's too much of a skew to really happen.

Pauper Cube
I cube, I play EDH, and I can't afford Legacy. The other formats can suck it.
