P3P1 Dear lord, take Sacellum Archers, and even if you missed that, Armillary Sphere is better than Exploding borders by a mile. I think Exploding Borders is pretty terrible in draft.
P3P2 Fiery Fall for fixing plus removal. Hellspark Elemental is terrible in Naya.

Ok don't think I did quite so bad on this draft, pretty happy with its performance round one. Game one of round two I got stuck on three lands in a three land hand with no black *sigh* Game two of round two I got accelerated sarkhan vol -> apocalypse hydra for 16 damage that I couldn't deal with. (he had a few small things for the extra 5 after the 11/hasted hydra.

You could've had a way better Grixis deck with 3x Fiery Falls, but it seems you didn't realize that they are a top notch card in Conflux. Also, I don't know if you completely just missed the Agony Warp when you took Oblivion Ring or what, but your deck could've been insane.
P2 P5 - Yoked Plowbeast. When there's honestly no pick present, take something with generic cycling.

In the second draft -
p1 p3 - Splinters was NOT a bad call, but you may have also considered Fleshbag Marauder. I generally find them both on more or less the same pick level.
p1 p4 - Resounding Thunder hands down. 3 Damage removal > 2 Damage removal. Period. Not even considering how retardedly easy it is to make a little green mana available.
p1 p6 - If you were considering hopping to 5c, then Resounding Roar would've been a better pick. I personally would have been going for 5cc from the moment of opening Cruel.
p1 p9 - Naya Panorama. Cancel is Jank generally, and I prefer to pick up any and all fixing when I can. It allows for easier splashing, and at absolute worst, is deck thinning.
p2 p2 - Archdemon of Unx. Don't sneeze at a big flying trampler. Ever. ESPECIALLY when you're other pick is something as not so good as Dragon Fodder.
Esper Battlemage is the pick here, but I can't really argue against the Ultimatum. If you want to force it, that's your prerogative. (and it's not a bad card to force a deck for, either)
late magma spray imho. was wondering between that and resounding thunder, but didn't think I'd have the green splash yet for cycle. It doesn't matter if you're splashing green or not... Thunder is better anyway.
Need more guys, and the thorn thrash is ok. I'd hate draft the Guardians. You don't have enough creatures for devour to do anything.

Thought about the drag down, really though nothing is quite as powerful as the elder mastery in my colors here. not a great pack to open. Drag Down for sure... it's very solid removal, and the Mastery, while potentially powerful, is terrible at defense, is conditional, and is expensive. I'd rather have the solid removal.
fixing, looks like i'm running for some bombs so the tempo loss won't be too painful hopefully. Armillary Sphere > Rupture Spire by miles.

As I said in the draft I thought about slaughtermaster + elder mastery, that would have been so insane. Also, Elder Mastery's value goes down the less creatures you have, and you didn't have very many at that point.

I think Tri Land is a fine pick here. Screecher, while good, is not as nice as a tri land IMO. Although, his low creature count probably makes the pick closer.

It depends on the deck, but most of the time, the removal is better. It's far more versatile and consistent, even if it won't outright win you games like the mastery.

The elemental, while solid for an aggressive deck, is not that great for a slower deck like yours, and as such I would not pick him very highly. That being said, I would pick him over Absorb Vis easily if you weren't sort of low on fixing (3 fixers is so-so).

Although Fiery Fall is indeed very good, don't blindly pick it over anything. Just make sure you take into account its quality as late game removal and early game fixing. I personally find it overrated, but that doesn't mean it's a bad card (or should EVER go as late as it did in your draft). Just don't get married to it as soon as you see it in a pack.
Also, I would recommend not splashing for it unless you were very low on removal, as if you splash it, it's pretty much a coma veil. What makes it strong is its versatility early game.

Yea, I just took Screecher there cuz his man count is like INSANELY low at that point. Under proper creature count, I would take land too.

Are you on crack? You're firmly in Naya, with 2 panoramas, and you pick the Squire over Wooly Thocktar?
Perhaps? I obviously didn't notice the thoctar. Is that the only thing you can really find though or just the most glaringly obvious mistake? I'm sure I made more.
You will improve keep at it - try to take a look over the entire pack rather than just clicking what you think immediately...
Skeletonize is better than Elemental, even without black. Also, he already admitted he missed the thoctar. I agree that he could be more thorough, but I think if he saw it then he would have taken it.
In p2-2 in the Naya draft I would take Knight of the Skyward Eye over a thirdBloodpyre Elemental, which would be a fourth 5 drop. Naya Panorama is a decent card and fixing is good to have, but 2nd pick is way too early to take a Panorama, at least in Shards-Shards-Conflux. Knight is a 2/2 on turn 2 and can be a 5/5 later. Excellent card.
Skeletonize has a slightly better argument than Bloodpyre Elemental, because it's a 2 for 1, but I just like the cheap card here.
Your picks in the first pack and the 2-1 Naya Charm pick were all fine, so that's good. (That 1-1 is tough, but there are compelling arguments for O-Ring or Cerodon.)
2-3 Panorama's ok, as this pack is significantly weaker than the previous pack.
2-4 might be better off as Sanctum Gargoyle, because even 4 for a 2/3 flier is playable for you. 4 drops are hard to find in this format, and playable fliers are very hard to find in Naya. Rip-Clan Crasher isn't the easiest guy to cast, and in Naya you can get lots of 2/2s.
But this may just be me.
2-5 should definitely be Thoctar. You need to learn to look at every card in the pack
2-6 should absolutely be Wild Nacatl. Steward is mana acceleration, but it doesn't always land turn 2 with that mana cost. Nacatl is a better aggressive card.
Another reason this should definitely be Wild Nacatl is that otherwise you're sending signals that Naya is open. You couldn't really do anything about that insane pack 2 you passed with 3 high Naya picks in it, but especially with that Thoctar you passed, seeing that Nacatl may tell someone in Jund or Bant to move into your territory. And you don't want that to happen, because it'll screw up the rest of your draft. It'll screw up the rest of that person's draft too, but that doesn't get you very far.
2-9 should probably be Druid of the Anima. You have three five drops and it fixes your colors. Visionary is nice, but the 1/1 isn't that helpful to you because you don't have any devourers
2-10 I don't know why this tabled. Even Esper can take advantage of it, because they don't get single-colored bears otherwise.

I haven't drafted Conflux much, so I don't have experience with a lot of these cards:
3-2 I like Cylian Sunsinger here, but I prefer cheap Naya aggro... GRw or GWr decks have the potential for the most explosive starts of anything in the format (other than plains Akrasan Squire swamp Darklit swamp swing for 6).
3-3 Meditant's a solid card... Should this be Manaforce Mace?

3-5 too many 5 drops... but Tukatongue Thallid kind of sucks in your deck.

3-9 look at your curve. Too many 5 mana cards. What if you don't draw your Druid or Steward? Some games you don't get to 5, or if you do, you get stuck playing one guy a turn. Take the Nacatl Savage.

3-11 I like the Outlander here, but it could go either way... Lapse only stalls, but that could be all you need.

P3P3: You can't even activate the slaughter dude's ability. Fiery Fall is much better.
P3P4: You obviously way underrate Fiery Fall. The card is amazing and far better than Goblin Outlander.
P3P6: Hellspark Elemental isn't good. Should've been Absorb Vis or Molten Frame for SB hate, imo.
P3P7: HOLY CHRIST. Another fiery fall and you still didn't take it.
You could've had a way better Grixis deck with 3x Fiery Falls, but it seems you didn't realize that they are a top notch card in Conflux. Also, I don't know if you completely just missed the Agony Warp when you took Oblivion Ring or what, but your deck could've been insane.
P2 P5 - Yoked Plowbeast. When there's honestly no pick present, take something with generic cycling.
Others have covered the basics of mistakes you made.
In the second draft -
p1 p3 - Splinters was NOT a bad call, but you may have also considered Fleshbag Marauder. I generally find them both on more or less the same pick level.
p1 p4 - Resounding Thunder hands down. 3 Damage removal > 2 Damage removal. Period. Not even considering how retardedly easy it is to make a little green mana available.
p1 p6 - If you were considering hopping to 5c, then Resounding Roar would've been a better pick. I personally would have been going for 5cc from the moment of opening Cruel.
p1 p9 - Naya Panorama. Cancel is Jank generally, and I prefer to pick up any and all fixing when I can. It allows for easier splashing, and at absolute worst, is deck thinning.
p2 p2 - Archdemon of Unx. Don't sneeze at a big flying trampler. Ever. ESPECIALLY when you're other pick is something as not so good as Dragon Fodder.
I'll do the rest later.
Clarification: You can NOT play ANY ultimatum in a 5C deck, including cruel. If you have domain, that means you'll need 9 lands to play Ultimatum instead of 7, and they all need to be right... if you have an ultimatum, you better stick to those colors, especially for one as good as Cruel. There really doesn't seem any reason to go 5C with what's been passed to you.

P2P6: Ok, I guess this makes sense. At least the grixis is all three colors and the cycler isn't that great.
P3P1: Really? I guess Elder Mastery kind of put my curve a little top heavy but +3+3flying + discard on hit, that's pretty serious clock/threat... Is drag down for -3/-3 really better?
P3P3: Actually I activated the slaughtermaster's ability quite a few times with jund tri-land. That defiinitely factored into me picking him. As I said in the draft I thought about slaughtermaster + elder mastery, that would have been so insane. Anyway, apparently i'm valuing removal far too low if fiery fall and drag down were both the picks.
P3P4: I had a terrible creature count and felt I needed the body more than removal/landcycling. I do value those things lower than I should.
P3P6: Really? he usually swings in for 6 dmg or at least a decent trade turns 2/3 if you get him out. Absorb vis is rarely cast, and I felt I was short on the playables count to get molten frame.
P3P7: lol. again, felt my creature count was too low, needed some grizzly bears.
So what did I learn? PICK FIERY FALL! Next draft when I P3P1 fiery fall while playing in G/W I'll make sure to post
Also, Elder Mastery's value goes down the less creatures you have, and you didn't have very many at that point.
I think Tri Land is a fine pick here. Screecher, while good, is not as nice as a tri land IMO. Although, his low creature count probably makes the pick closer.
It depends on the deck, but most of the time, the removal is better. It's far more versatile and consistent, even if it won't outright win you games like the mastery.
The elemental, while solid for an aggressive deck, is not that great for a slower deck like yours, and as such I would not pick him very highly. That being said, I would pick him over Absorb Vis easily if you weren't sort of low on fixing (3 fixers is so-so).
Although Fiery Fall is indeed very good, don't blindly pick it over anything. Just make sure you take into account its quality as late game removal and early game fixing. I personally find it overrated, but that doesn't mean it's a bad card (or should EVER go as late as it did in your draft). Just don't get married to it as soon as you see it in a pack.
Also, I would recommend not splashing for it unless you were very low on removal, as if you splash it, it's pretty much a coma veil. What makes it strong is its versatility early game.

Are you on crack? You're firmly in Naya, with 2 panoramas, and you pick the Squire over Wooly Thocktar?
Perhaps? I obviously didn't notice the thoctar. Is that the only thing you can really find though or just the most glaringly obvious mistake? I'm sure I made more.
Skeletonize is better than Elemental, even without black. Also, he already admitted he missed the thoctar. I agree that he could be more thorough, but I think if he saw it then he would have taken it.

Skeletonize has a slightly better argument than Bloodpyre Elemental, because it's a 2 for 1, but I just like the cheap card here.
Your picks in the first pack and the 2-1 Naya Charm pick were all fine, so that's good. (That 1-1 is tough, but there are compelling arguments for O-Ring or Cerodon.)
2-3 Panorama's ok, as this pack is significantly weaker than the previous pack.
2-4 might be better off as Sanctum Gargoyle, because even 4 for a 2/3 flier is playable for you. 4 drops are hard to find in this format, and playable fliers are very hard to find in Naya. Rip-Clan Crasher isn't the easiest guy to cast, and in Naya you can get lots of 2/2s.
But this may just be me.
2-5 should definitely be Thoctar. You need to learn to look at every card in the pack
2-6 should absolutely be Wild Nacatl. Steward is mana acceleration, but it doesn't always land turn 2 with that mana cost. Nacatl is a better aggressive card.
Another reason this should definitely be Wild Nacatl is that otherwise you're sending signals that Naya is open. You couldn't really do anything about that insane pack 2 you passed with 3 high Naya picks in it, but especially with that Thoctar you passed, seeing that Nacatl may tell someone in Jund or Bant to move into your territory. And you don't want that to happen, because it'll screw up the rest of your draft. It'll screw up the rest of that person's draft too, but that doesn't get you very far.
2-9 should probably be Druid of the Anima. You have three five drops and it fixes your colors. Visionary is nice, but the 1/1 isn't that helpful to you because you don't have any devourers
2-10 I don't know why this tabled. Even Esper can take advantage of it, because they don't get single-colored bears otherwise.
Nothing but bad packs until 3.
I haven't drafted Conflux much, so I don't have experience with a lot of these cards:
3-2 I like Cylian Sunsinger here, but I prefer cheap Naya aggro... GRw or GWr decks have the potential for the most explosive starts of anything in the format (other than plains Akrasan Squire swamp Darklit swamp swing for 6).
3-3 Meditant's a solid card... Should this be Manaforce Mace?
3-4 *shrug*
3-5 too many 5 drops... but Tukatongue Thallid kind of sucks in your deck.
3-6 definitely. another high drop but at least it's a strong card
3-7 yes
3-8 shrug
3-9 look at your curve. Too many 5 mana cards. What if you don't draw your Druid or Steward? Some games you don't get to 5, or if you do, you get stuck playing one guy a turn. Take the Nacatl Savage.
3-10 *shrug* you probably have to do it
3-11 I like the Outlander here, but it could go either way... Lapse only stalls, but that could be all you need.
