Future Sight greeted everyone with a massively pickable pack. The two clear choices were Judge Unworthy and Spin Into Myth, and after some debate and debacle, Judge Unworthy was judged unworthy to join the deck...
Going with leaden fists because it's pseudo-removal (and I just don't like Oriss). Nothing else really seems to fit, maybe the mindcensor/blade but otherwise this pack is useless.

Hey, lolis with katanas are awesome, and I don't care about their home country.
You may not like Oriss, but she really does cause problems for your opponents combat situations when she's on the table.
Leaden Fists as a 2nd pick just seems naive--these usually go very late. This pack is a tad weak, so I actually wouldn't be overly surprised to not see it table, but if you're excited to pick up Leaden Fists we'll have our chances. I picked Oriss.

Well I don't like her because I haven't played her and I find her value questionable. I've played fists before and it's more or less a card I don't mind playing.

Oriss looks great. I've never seen her in limited, but I can just imagine how she'll gum up combat. Basically, she makes it much harder for our opponent to attack or block favorably.
Leaden Fists is good semi-removal, but it's much weaker than Oriss or Mindcensor. It is too easy for our opponent to work around it--and if we really want one, we are likely to see another.
What?! Look at the initial post; he is dead. Deceased. Kaputt. Indefinitely horizontal. In mafia games, you see, people are occasionally "killed off," and when that sad event occurs, he or she is no longer allowed to post, on account of rigor mortis and what-have-you.
'Welcome to Mafia Salvation', it said, 'Population: 3,660.' And someone, they never figured out who, had painted on the sign in red letters: '1,831 to lynch.'
You'll never ship any removal if you're afraid to play against it. What happens when you see Ghostfire and Ichor Slick in the same pack? Go nuts?
hatedraft the one not in my colors so if they take it they have to splash it. and obv I always play RB and take all the good removal over mediocre cards like calciderm, riftwing cloudskate, Ephemeron, Ith etc.
Leaden fists is bad removal, bad pump, and bad combat trick. so amazing.
Oriss isn't a bomb... just... the best wall ever printed. Super Saltfield Recluse. Blocks Ith + Leaden Fists All Day Long Unless You Leaden Fists The Oriss Instead of Ith.
seriously you can't attack for two damage when you have a 6/8 vigilance beater? maybe they will cycle street wraith... 4 turn clock way to make Ith do all the work sheesh
I voted for Oriss, not out of experience but just because I can foresee the combat problems that will arise for the opponents. I am surprised though that most people voted for it though. I thought people would be all over Aven Mindsensor or Blade of the Sixth Pride.

You must be kidding. First of all, R/B is mediocre even when you get the nuts, and the nuts involves a lot more in the way of madness cards than in the way of removal. Second of all, no matter how much removal you draft, you can't guarantee that it will be enough to deal with what your opponent has. Third of all, hatedrafting removal is retarded. Fourth of all, Leaden Fists might be better than Assassinate, but only just barely, and Assassinate is mediocre. Fifth of all, Saltfield Recluse is first pick quality, so a Super Saltfield Recluse pretty much means it's a bomb.
Yeah, so basically you were wrong on every single point.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. Is "Leaden first is bad removal" a sarcastic comment or is "so amazing" the sarcastic comment. You need to work on your joke telling skillz. You also need to work on that orange glow which you try to pass off as a tan.
seriously you can't attack for two damage when you have a 6/8 vigilance beater? maybe they will cycle street wraith... 4 turn clock way to make Ith do all the work sheesh
Maybe they will chump block for a couple of turn? Maybe they have Sprout Swarm? Maybe they will tap your Ith with Trapper or Trickster?
If we don't see leaden fists later then this something wrong will have happened. I've played with oriss, and she does her job well, and by job I mean completely screwing up attacking/blocking math.
Actually it's Leaden Fists. I will be first picking Leaden Fists at tonight's FNM. Hopefully I can get one for removing creatures, one for making big walls and one for dealing three extra damage. That's one Leaden Fists, in case you were counting.
I have seen Oriss a couple of times, and even played her once, and really was completely underwhelmed. The reason recluse is amazing is because he not only completely messes up combat math but also knocks that three flying damage down to one a turn. Oriss can't touch evasive creatures. So yeah, she's a good wall and might save a creature or two from burn or summat, but she doesn't win you any games. Win more sometimes, but she's usually not worth the card in your deck.

Saltfield Recluse? No, no, no - as amazing as Recluse is an active Oriss also stops Red removal (and the kill-stuff part of Tendrils).
Besides - Leaden Fists vs Golden Bra... what kind of question is that?!

I like Leaden Fists. A Lot. But if it is as you say, and it goes late, we can rely on it to wheel around. I took Blade of the Sixth Pride to add to our aggressive arsenal.
Oriss is a bomb. You'll note that pretty much everyone debating against her are the ones admitting they haven't played her. I have. On both sides.

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, the wisdom to know the difference, and a ****ing chainsaw.
Oriss is NOT a bomb... she's really good, but not a bomb. Bomb = win game by self. Oriss cannot win the game by herself. It's like, let's say they printed rathi trapper as a 1/4 for 2 instead. THat would be completely ridiculous, but would you call it a bomb? No.
BTW, I pick oriss here anyways :X. If we had more vigilance guys, IE synchronous slivers, then I might take the fists. But such is not the case.
At last having cut white and blue seems to be paying off. Oriss is a solid pick - I played this in draft twice (in control decks like ours) and felt happy at the result. Very solid.

+3 damage randomly wins more games then -infinite dmg to creature. mostly because -infinity dmg to creature
Man I hope leaden fists wins so we can beat down with 6/8 Ith

I knew it. Initially I thought you must be a bad player because of your inability to use proper grammar and punctuation. This confirms my suspicion.
