I read something recently that said in RtR sealed the efficiency of two-color decks beat the extra power of decks splashing a third or forth land-type. Obviously the correct build depends on the depth of your main guild and the mana fixers you open, but I'm curious to know what people are hoping to play?
I'm playing Orzhov at my pre release and I'm gonna try to play rUb since red seems to have some cards that will keep my extort creatures alive and able to continuously ping my opponent.

I'm in the two color camp. I prefer consistency over power most of the time. If I can make a strong, coherent deck wtih just my two, I much prefer that. Even with decent gate support and such, I never really like running three colors. In fact, I don't know if I've ever won a draft online with a splash. My best decks always seem to be just two colors.
Red and black have a lot of nice removal. I wouldn't mind wielding a R/G stompy deck with lots of BLoodrush (you can't predict combat tricks anymore cause there's SO many). But of course with sealed, you can't really decide ahead of time what you're going to play. The number of colors and splash are determinate by the card pool and fixing that you get. I will gladly splash 1-2 removal/bomb cards if fixing is there.
In my experience you can build two color draft decks much more reliably than two color sealed decks. In a draft you settle on colors early and only take playables in those colors. In sealed, your pool will have a color distribution that makes it hard to find 23 quality cards in just two colors. I don't think I've ever successfully run two colors in RTR sealed and I'm not sure I've seen many opponents that have done it either.
GTC doesn't look to have as much color fixing as RTR so it's going to be interesting putting together a GTC sealed pool like at the prerelease. I suppose one aspect of the prerelease that I am not taking into consideration is the fact that one entire pack will be only guild colored which means that you will probably only need to find 13 - 18 playables in your guild colors from the other 5 boosters.
So maybe at the prerelease 2 colored will be viable; but I expect 2 colored GTC to be much harder to pull of in post-prerelease sealed play.
I hope to have an amazing two color deck that doesn't require splashing. This is unlikely. I don't expect it, and will not be sad when I can't do it. But if it was possible to just have an amazing two color deck that would be fantastic. I expect to have a splash, but I hope I do not require 3 actual main colors because I am a big fan of having a solid mana base. I love my manas.
I suspect I'll end up playing WB splash R or U. I found in RtR that being centered around a color that supports two guilds provide the most consistency in being able to play cards. Based on this I will be W or B centered as I can use more gates and keyrunes than picking a G splash or centering on U or R. I hope to be able to keep mutliple same colored mana spells out of the deck for any color other than the center color. Splashing G will not happen unless I end up ditching my guild pack completely.
I'm afraid my skill is not high enough to manage a good splash; of course, if I get enough mana-fixing and an insane bomb that begs to be played, I might try it, but I had some unpleasant experiences with that, so I hope I'll manage with a two-colored deck. I realize that Simic lack removal, but I believe in Wizards and them balancing the guilds, so maybe I'll have something that will compensate for that.
In formats like this I always feel cheated if I don't play three colors. With all the gold and hybrid cards bouncing around I get more enjoyment out of the prerelease with 2 and a splash or even 2 and 2 splashes than just a plain jane guild deck.

On the other hand, if my pool were so powerful and so focused that a 2-color deck were without question the strongest option I would go that route.

I have some EDH cards and rare Magic basic lands (APAC, EURO, ARENA, etc) so message me if you're looking.

Assault Griffin + a splashed Midnight Recovery would be ok with me after trading off all my 3/1s. Conveniently, recovering white creatures will continue to trigger Court Street Denizen...
I'm HIGHLY tempted to jump ship and play Orzhov, but I wanna play RED-WHITE control!
