OK, Well my firends and I decided to get the prerelease packs and have a little tourney of our own as we didnt get to attend the prerelease. i was just wondering what you guys would of made if you got this pool. I will also post I made too. I made a U/W deck focusing on more control than anything.
What would you do different?
This won the tourney for me. This was also my second time doing a sealed deck too. I was running low on creatures to choose but luckily I had the scry mechanic to draw them out.
I really need to stop playing online and start playing paper. Anyway...
12 creatures is super low, especially when only a couple of them are even remotely decent attackers. Floodtide Serpent's downside is terrible in this deck and you have nothing to suit up Shorestalker with to make it a consideration. I'd say white is easily the worst color in the pool. Lost in a Labryinth and Ephara's Radiance are also stone cold unplayable, for future reference. I'd have likely gone either GU, GR or one of those with a slight splash (backed off of a couple of fixers in green) - the pool's pretty dreadful, though. I don't see more than 10 playables, even stretching it a bit, in any color besides maybe green (with some questionable mainboarding).
Blue and green are by far his best colors IMO. Red has some solid cards but is a bit shallow and he lacks the top end you want for a RG monsters deck. Meanwhile he has great blue tempo cards.

It's not amazing but it's a solid UG tempo shell. Early game you have ramp, scry, tempo removal and blockers. Lategame you have 3-power evasive guys and big fatties. I think that's the best deck you can make.
NOTES to OP:
1) Green has heroic creatures and Solidarity of Heroes, but that's just a trap. There's not enough to support a proper heroic strategy and those cards are all just bad if drawn in the wrong order.
2) Floodtide Serpent is bad unless you have a dedicated Constellation deck, Lost in Labyrinth is not playable, and Triton Shorestalker is a very weak card despite being unblockable because 1 damage a turn is too slow to be worth a full card.
