Ok. I am in a M19 league. I think this pool is fairly strong, but I want to see if it's built correctly. You can either try to build yourself, or go off my current deck list (I'll be adding at least one pack tonight).
Week 1: 4-1
Week 2: 3-1
Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions!
FWIW: We all started with a pre-release kit week 1. To add packs, you can buy 1 additional pack each subsequent week. You win 1 pack for every 7 wins. You can buy a pack every 3 losses. I have added a total of 2 packs thus far.
Thanks for the feedback. I actually did put in the Bone Dragon tonight, but unfortunately, it did not turn out well. 3 games, never saw 2 black sources.
Never saw Sarkhan with him is disappointing. Third color is a tough one for a double spell.
Especially with your Greenseeker, Rejuvinator and Draconic Disciple able to help dig/create black.
Guess that proves your first build was probably better to be streamlined.
I would look to cut the filler (the two pyromancers and guttersnipe). I would defiantly consider splashingfor Horizon Scholar since you have the proper land and disciple. 16 lands seems greedy; you have some great cards so you aren't afraid of the long game and Bamefire and spit flame + dragon aren't complaing if you are making your land drops. What are you losing to? Also, not running skyscanner in a deck with your bomby cards seems wrong. It helps make land drops and find them. Finally, how's recollect been?
I'd go red /blue with this pool, the green big creatures are underwhelming, while blue has two playable creatures plus enigma drake.
Blue also has 3 dwindles which deal with annoying creatures for only 3 mana, you also have two anti creatures counters.
I would play aviation pioneer, snapping drake and horizon scholar with the enigma drake main deck and Skyscanner.
As for spells, disperse, essence scatter, bone to ash, cancel, anticipate and the three dwindles.
So after the second turn you can brick any big creatures that the opp casts and you can win in the air.
For red I would add 2 bogart brutes.
I know 12 creatures is kind of low, but your removal spells, counters and 3 dwindles more then make up for that.
Also your top end creatures fly so you can end the game quickly after they come out.
Last, play 17 lands. Maybe 9 mountains and 8 islands.

You've got a lot of fixing to help you cast Bone Dragon even if only 2 swamps and the cinder.
