with all the cyclers out there, plus Essence Scatter, i wonder if there's a deck to draft that i can play mostly on my opponent's turn?
i would love to live the dream of a control deck that wins only through Slither Blade or the like!
what is the most annoying deck that has some possibility of forcing (even if it's not good)?

Raging Goblin He raged at the world, at his family, at his life. But mostly he just raged.
It's not quite Slither Blade territory, but often I was attacking with Dune Beetles and Seeker of Insight. I kept 1UU up most of the game, whether or not I had a Cancel left.
There's probably a much better blue-based deck that uses Drake Haven as a win condition. I just never saw one.
One of the guys last night drafted this insane UB durdle deck, which gets my vote for the funnest deck in the format. The core of the deck is multiple copies of Scribe of the Mindful and Wander in Death. With two copies of scribe and a wander in death in the yard, you can infinite recurse spells and creatures, so he just kept on recurring cancel and removal spells. The deck was comically lacking in win conditions and just ran as many defensive cards (Ancient Crab) as possible to fill out the rest of the deck, but it turns out that infinitely recurring things is a win condition in of itself: he got by with a single aven initiate, Compelling Argument, and his opponents decking themselves from cycling too much as win conditions. I think he ended up 2-1 or something, but that sounds like a deck that you'd be interested in.
Oh, yes. Grixis control is a deck. You have common 5/5 and 6/4 6-drops that cycle, tons of removal and good cycling interactions throughout all three colors. An 18-land 3-color deck with 8+ cycling cards is totally doable, even without fixing, if you cycle aggressively, have a good top-end and enough early speed bumps to keep you in decent shape until turn 7-8.

It's still early, so maybe people hadn't figured out the signals and all ended up drafting chaff. Or maybe draw-go can be a thing?

There's probably a UR deck with Enigma Drake as a win condition and Reduce // Rubble to drive people crazy.
I wish there was one of those blue flying flash creatures they print in a lot of formats.
So much cycling, Shadowstorm Vizier, Ruthless Sniper,Pitiless Vizier. Just obliterated all the aggro.
