How do people feel about the dragon throne? It seems powerful, but the one time I drafted it I always had more important things to do with my mana, or I didn't have the 3+ creatures needed to really make it good.
Haven't played it myself, but it sure uses a lot of mana. I can totally see it winning outlast marathons, though.
I played with it in a Temur sealed deck. Stole me a game or two, though oddly enough it was more effective on defense since it generally made it unprofitable to attack me, even when it was unprofitable for me to attack.
Want to know the funniest thing I've ever seen Dragon Throne do? Equip to a 2/3, attack with all other creatures, activate, opponent casts Throttle in response. Whoops.
Isn't it essentially always best to put the throne on your creature with the highest power? Assuming you don't want to leave it behind to block or something.

I wouldn't think that would do anything (well, it would cancel the effect) - does the creature still have a power score for the purpose of the effect when it's dead? Now a 2/5 would be another thing...

If the creature dies, the ability will use it's last known information. So still -2, same as a 2/5 creature.

Yep, Locke's got it right. Throttle turned into a board wipe.

Is theoretical money drafting a thing? Narset is worth like 4 bucks right?

"A scrupulous writer, in every sentence that he writes, will ask himself at least four questions, thus: 1. What am I trying to say? 2. What words will express it? 3. What image or idiom will make it clearer? 4. Is this image fresh enough to have an effect? And he will probably ask himself two more: 1. Could I put it more shortly? 2. Have I said anything that is avoidably ugly?"
We don't want another sambar, but I like Blinding Spray. In our deck it will likely either save our flying creature from trading in combat or make sure we don't lose the damage race.
Ack. Jeskai in blue and tri-color is open, but all the good red and white were drafted heavily. I guess if this were a real draft I'd take Narset, Enlightened Master, but otherwise it's a toss up between Blinding Spray or Wetland Sambar. The only reason why I picked Narset in this virtual draft is because some good multi colors and commons might still pass this way, and we could still tilt blue with red and white splash with the right colors and the right rare in the next pack.
I want at least one more 2-drop at some point, but we've got enough now that I don't feel compelled to grab another bad one. Blinding Spray looks like a sideboard card, but one I don't mind having access to. Trumpet Blast/Rush of Battle decks are real things, and this seems like a blowout against them, if an expensive one.
I think Narset needs a very specific deck to be playable, probably something controlling with 15-18 spells. I would take Wetland Sambar here; we want 5 or 6 2 drops for consistency purposes in this deck I think, so might as well take one that is available.
Not as far as I know. She pretty much just dies on attack unless you get lucky. Maybe in a deck with lots of instant speed removal?
Blinding Spray is theoretically ok. One sided fog could be a blowout on offense too, if you're pressuring them into making trades, or it can get some free damage in. Cantrip keeps the floor from being too low. That said, I've never cast it or had it cast against me.
If someone told me that I could take my pick out of this pack and tear it up, and in exchange they could guarantee that one of my opponents would take Narset and put her in their deck, I would take that deal. A 3-color, 6-mana creature that only does anything if it's built around by playing a bunch of other bad cards is something we want our opponents to play. Don't get me wrong, I think Narset is a very neat card (with fantastic art, though that's neither here nor there) that I'm excited to play... in EDH.
Maybe someone will prove me wrong, but my belief is that Narset is so bad in Limited that even hatedrafting it over nothing is negative value.
I've never played it or played against it, but Narset seems like it has a place in any general Jeskai deck. I mean, you'd have to get pretty fantastically unlucky to get 4 creatures in a row off the top, and her ability says noncreature cards, not noncreature spells, so lands are game. And a 3 power first strike hexproof makes a pretty decent wall if you're running low on cards. Not saying I'd pick her especially highly, but I wouldn't cut her either.

Unfortunately no, Oracle ruling says "You can’t play any land cards exiled with Narset."
Indeed, the important word there is "cast". You don't cast lands. Seems like semantics, but it's actually relevant. It's also the reason why you can't play lands with Daxos.
I have played Narset once in 5 color with the Temur seeded pack. The deck was 45 cards with 2 copies each of Dragonscale Boon, Become Immense, and Bring Low with some other noncreatures including Sorin and Awaken the Bear. Narset either got lucky and did 11 damage in one swing or hit nothing and died to Salt Road Patrol. I probably wouldn't run her again but it was fun in a small prerelease. She almost made me lose one game but the extra 5 cards in the deck left me with 3 or 4 in my library when I won.

Monastery flock is suprisingly effective, like it against anyone trying to aggro rush us and it is still a 2/2 for 3.
Sidisi's pet is good in any deck that can pump it that isn't our deck.
Snowhorn rider... hmm we have a bunch of glacial stalker and they are pretty much the same except the the important trample and there are a lot of 0/5 in the set the rider can punch through.
naturalise is a good sideboard card but I have honestly not really seen a sacery enough enchament.. just trail of mystery.
hmmm I think I'll play safe and go with monastary flock. we would have to piorities fixing over everything in the last pack if we were to take the rider.
Monastery Flock - the rider is interesting but we are going to have a hard enough time splashing black into this deck. UG double splash seems overoptimistic given the (lack of) color fixing we've seen.
Monastery Flock stops almost every flying creature and a lot of ground creatures, so I'm always happy to have 1 main deck and 1 sideboard. If we had even 1 land to support the red splash I would take the Snowhorn Rider though.

blinding Spray its not a bad card.. putting draw a card on anything makes it interesting.
Jeskai is obviously open.. I did think we could of made it work.. although it is way too late now.

Too bad she doesn't have Prowess, though.
